He's always a man for pressure situations...that rope he played in the 2011 world cup match against England is an example

Riyad just needed to believe in himself lot more all these years thats all. He is quite decent built. I train often, into fitness, trust me riyadh is well built; has a lean body, nicely built upper body, arms too. When he bats take look at his arms: quite muscular, there is a lot power there, he just needs to unleash it lot more.

Kayes is another player that seems to pack a lot of power. He seems built, but kind of on the fatter side, but still no excuse to not be able to clear the ropes if he can time it well. Its hard to tell if Riyad is built, he wears pretty loose clothing in the field lol

Another excellent performance. Proving to be a key player with bat, ball and on the field.

T20 batting rounding into form just in time for the skippers role when Mash bows out. You know that as skipper he'll bowl himself more. I wish he'd also promote himself to open.

Man, loving this new Riyad? The back foot drive over extra cover for six against Irfan was class. Easily the shot of the tournament for me

what a player he turned into, start to admire his dedication for the game, he is like a silent killer. He bats with solid tecnique and can hit sixes at will with wrist.

A lot of credit to Haturi da and Mash. Haturida certainly gave him the confidence by batting him at 3 last year which lifted his game. Also Mash for supporting him more then his bhaira Bhai did

That six was spectacular. (Though SS's six into the upper tier was also something)

I had him as my favourite player long before you guys started praising him.

What a talent and class this guy has. Next captain, without a doubt.

Such a great player he is. Always admired him, even during those times when he was criticized heavily. He's showing why he deserves to be the next captain!

Should be called the super-freeze guy. So cool under pressure.

A few days back when mushy was captain, people used to call Riyad as Mushis bhaira bhai. The way things are going now and if Riyad becomes captain after Mash, will he return same favour to Mushi? History does repeat itself - I am afraid
