Default HELLO BCB - Shunchen apnara ?

Something we have preached over the last couple of years.

==============================BANGLADESH SHOULD HAVE BATTING COACH

Former Sri Lankan Test cricketer and TV commentator Ranjit Fernando thinks Bangladesh should have a permanent batting coach if the country wants to improve their standard.

Talking to this correspondent during the second day of the first Test, Ranjit said that Bangladesh should not have taken coaches like Trevor Chappell or Mohsin Kamal who were not experts in batting during their playing careers.

"You see a bowler or a coach who is specialist in fielding has nothing to do with the improvement in batting. You should have a coach who can teach batting because a team is graded on their batting performance," observed Ranjit, who also managed the Sri Lankan team in the first Asian Test Championship back in 1999.
