It may or may not be the first, but I beleive Mushfiqur Rahim will score for us one day. May be we need to wait for 4/5 years for that.
In the mean time, Nafis or Ashraful may score the first one as a one time wonder.

For double century, as fwullah mentioned we might have to wait for a new generation. May be for Mushfiqur Rahim or Shamsur Rahman. But let them be selected and get some centuries first. But I want that double century to happen in next series. In current team Ash and Bashar have all the potentials to score that.

I think.. most of the present BD top/middle order batsmen are capable of scoring double ton. Most of them have good enough technique for double ton. Its just patience and shot selection that most of them lack So.. I cant really say who will it be or any new face.. but.. Surely.. the double ton from someone will come sooon.. may be within a year or two. I will just be happy if anyone can do it....But.. will be actually more happy if BD team stop loosing by Innings atleast.

Bashar, Pilot and Mushfikur Rahim all possess the potential to do that. Aftab does not possess the temperament neither do Rafique.
So number one is Pilot if not then Bashar otherwise Mushfik or someone completely new.

ashraful will somehow pull something from absolutely nowhere, like he has before (114 on debut, 158* v India, 100 v Australia). Maybe even similar to what Astle did to England in '02.

it will be mashrafee ........... bangladesh has a great tradition of our tail enders producing more runs than the top or middle order during crisis situations or otherwise....it wont suprise any fan if mashrafee does reach that mark.........
If wasim Akram can score 257 then why cant mashrafee.he too can hold the bat....and his shots r far better than javed ....

Javed can score 200 but will require 4days...
50 runs each day....
I think Javed can be useful in drawing the match for us...

I am not sure when or whether someone from Bangladesh will score a double ton. But it is quite clear that people in this forum have a lot of interest in fortune telling. We may or may not have any prospect of dominating the world cricket soon...but I'm sure we could easily dominate fortune telling business in the world.
