I think Nafees Iqbal has the ability to b one of the best Bangladeshi batsmen, i won't b surprised if he becomes the second Bangladshi batsman after mehrab to score an odi century. he is also the nephew of Akram Khan.

You cannot choose a batsmen of all time as we still have to see to the future..they may be class players down the line who wil outshine our CURRENT crop of players, also there are certain qulaitties our players tend to play well in; either in the ODI platform or TEST platform Habibul is good for Tet matches, whereas the true batsmen awaits for the ODI match.

I would not know who the best batsman of all time for Bangladesh is. But in my opinion it has to be one of the new comers, they are the key to any future success for Bangladeshi cricket.

Well I cannot choose. Akram Khan was sometimes an exciting player - I still remember the six he thrashed against Kenya in the match to qualify for World Cup 99. If any, I would choose Habibul Bashar though...

I think all are good batsman. But in my view ATHAR ALI KHAN is the best untill now. He was the most tallented opener batsman in Bangladesh.
I am a great fan of Athar Ali Khan.

In terms of performance , Habib is definitely my best batsman. However, I have this feeling that Athat Ali Khan also had enormous potential (his ODI average is around 29)

bashar gets the nod cuz he played in test era against the best teams in the world. athar, bulbul, akram all played mostly against associates...however, i think ash, rajin, nafis, nafees, aftab, dhiman will prolly end up better than even bashar. i am also sure the best BD player ever, is yet to be born.

i also think that the best bd player ever is set to be born.........because that is really needed for the success of bd team. well some people here are saying that akram bulbul atahar only played against associate teams and not against big teams. however the thing is that if akram bulbul and atahar didnt play then rajin ashraful nafis aftab would not have the opportunity of playing against the big teams. so we cannot actually forget the roles of the older ones.
