Thumbs up Congratulations to Mohammad Ashraful Motin for Reaching Double Figure in His 50th Test!

From today, thou shalt be known as MO for MOTIN ... ...

And yet once again you jinxed him. With your big Z thread you have ensured Big Z never scores about 50 and now you have driven the final nail through Mo's coffin. Look - he just got out.

Ok - Bangladesh Cricket does not need your kruptonite. You will now be hunted down.

Ash the batsman is not or never was in doubt. It was Ash the cricketer. Cricket is more than just bashing the ball if you're as stupid as Ash and it is becoming more and more clear that Ash is no longer fit to be in the team, mentality wise.

the inevitable question is who will replace Ashraful in that vital #5 slot in all formats of the game once he sadly gets dejected from the next ODI series...against WIndies

he looked good before he was out. infact his batting shows he is the best batsman that we got even in that brief innings. its surprising what goes through his mind. when u r cutting, why not cut hard, he was in the middle what to do, too cautious, thats why he ended up looping that ball up. this guy needs a mentor, Bd needs a batting coach more than anything else, siddons is clearly not doing his job.

Ya Its all Siddon's fault for unable to fix Ashraful's head.

Therefore Dhor Siddon-re Dhor.... (as if it will fix Motin's problem).

So sad. Imagine the incredible pressure on him in the second innings, which could be his last innings for a while. If he fails however in the second innings, which is an entire possibility, would that warrant an exclusion from the ODI team as well? dekha jak ki hoy..

so what do you suggest, kick him out? how much junaed scored or imrul or sakib? why r u particularly criticial of him, is his avg really less than them? at his best, he can score big, thats why its important for us to bring out the best of him. Job of the coach is to mentor players, other wise why he is there?

If you want to blame Siddon, there are plenty of other reasons to do that, If you tie it to Ash's lack of improvement as the reason to fire Siddon, that should be least of Siddon's fault in my opinion.

If not only Siddon, who is having problem with Motin as a coach, there is track record of past coaches being frustrated with Ash. For example frustrated Dav stopped talking with Ash.

So if you want to make a case why we should fire Siddon, look for his real shortfall, don't try to make shortfall as if its Siddon's fault that a player playing 50 TEST still cannot learn from his own mistake. A national team coach is definitely not the baby sitter for the experienced players like Ash and mashrafee. it may be little true for newer players, but not players who already played for soo long.

So please give us a break. Don't try to be find new scape goats for Ash's failure. If you think Motin is failing, Its nobody but his own fault and may be his fault of his loyal and sometimes blind supporters who sees no fault what Ash is doing to his legacy as well as to the team. He is becoming from one of the most young talented players in the world is one of the most over rated player and in a way laughing stock of all time who played in the highest level for so long.

R u kidding, why you need to fix Ashraful's head? Is he doing anything wrong, I think he played best, among the other batsmen, in our first innings for his valuable 12 (can u even think how much the deficit would have been, if he didn't play that invaluable innings)? More over, he bowled a very tidy spell (may not be the best.....as u skeptics would say....neverthless very tidy and economical one), I am increasingly/faster becoming a great fan of bowler Ashraful.

Other than his great contribution with batting and bowling, u guys forgot his two vital catches (u all have so short memory), those were the match (ops WI 1st innings) turning point. I can't even imagine (what would have happened without those vital catches) what WI 1st innings total would have been? And u guys are bashing him, so ungrateful......all of you......shame on u. As some one has mentioned in a thread after the 1st test, that we should keep Ashraful in the team just only because of his nag of breaking through vital partnership (i think he was actually degrading Ashraful the bowler), now I want him in the team only on the basis of his great fielding skill of taking Vital catches to breaking threatning partnership........can any one match him, I don't think so. If u compare his fielding, for all the tests we played these year, you can see he was even better ..........(emmm not sure, against whom to compare with, is it tamim, shakib u all think as the best fielder in the team), can someone please dig the appropriate stats in to show his highness's greatness.
