i will keep rajib untouched and give rubel a rest and bring in Shafi. reason both Shahdot and Shafi can bat quite well (if they intend to). Razzak is not upto his form so he can come down after Shahadot to bat. Remove Aftab and bring jahir in his place. Was also wondering why Sakib did not use aftab in bowling at all! just one over where he gave 2 runs only!
Even i am not happy to bring in rakibul yet but in case they bring rakibul in just replace with Imrul.
My two cents

really wanted to see Mushy score another 100, but it didnt happen. but overall it was a good performance. For mthe next test i would like to keep out Aftab and Imrul from the squad and include Johurul and Rokibul into playingg 11

SJP is a P, no matter how you spin it. The match was lost before tea yesterday and the fightback and the temporary euphoria will only hide the cracks for some more time. 20 Bangladeshi batsmen made 28 runs more than what 6 Englishmen did in the first innings. It may have been better for long term goals if the match had ended yesterday, for it may have led to some rethinking and action, instead of the self-congratulatory attitude that may follow this.

I think the team combination before (with Ash and Rock in) was the best combination we had in the recent past. Even though Ash was failing over and over again, he was better than Aftab.

Shakib Al Hasan says Bangladesh showed their character in the latter half of the game but reckons the track didn't turn enough and regrets his decision to field first. He says he's looking forward to giving it another shot at Dhaka.
what does he mean.... winning the toss and field again.......... well, u all know england will bat first again coz they will win the toss

I think bangladesh will put up a really good show during the second test, the players foght really hard during the last 2-3 days of this test match, I am pretty sure that they will bring this fighting spirit to the second test match and make a difference.

Yep Alhamdulillah. We've had worse heartbreaks, so this is not that bad one. Good performances from individuals (particularly from Junaid who hadn't been among runs). Over to Dhaka.

JS made 2 bad decision : first Mushfiq should have bats before Shakib .
Then : shahadat should have come before Razzak

As per previous records i think we have always done better in first test than the second.... logical aswell, as the tourists get to understand the conditions and our surprise players much better..

Omi Hasnt' held the gloves in a long time, Mushy will still be the keeper

Ash will last for 1 ball.
