pathetic bowling selection at the end
ashraful brought himself on with his loopy leg spinners and gave 44 runs in the last 2 overs, i think that probably finishes Bd's chance. Why didnt he use Mashrafi?? I cant think Mash could have given more runs than that. With spinners you are risking huge 6s and thats exactly what happened.
Watching Rajjak and Sakib, they are the kind of 20-20 spinners who can keep it in tight leash, not ashraful, who doesnt have variation. Reja and Ash is the weak link of this BD bowling, why not use kapali or aftab I dont think they can bowl worse.

Ash wanted to get some wicket inspite of run, to explore himself as a boweler.

We really dont get much help from Reza. Should have used another specialist bowler. Also Masri's economy of 8 runs per over was not that bad to not use his full quota.
Plus he should have kept 1 over of Russell and Razzak for the last two overs.

At the 16 over point, Mash had 2-0-16-0, Farhad 2-0-22-0 and Ashraful 2-0-11-0. The logic is quite obvious.

Yes, but when the choice was made in favor of Ash, I told my wife, this is a mistake, Masri was the logical choice.

Bowling the 3rd over was a logical choice, but bowling the 4th wasn't.

It doesn't matter now. If he can get all the runs he gave away and then some more, than so be it. Ash played the captain's knock and it was obvious he wanted to redeem himself for his mistake. I hope he learns from it and becomes better at captaincy.

though BD today won, still i think ASH should learn from this match mistakes, like not going to bowling again in last overs....

Yes he (Ash) made up with his bat this time. But for future, he need to use his head intead of hig BIg ego. So far we have seen, Ash is bowling too many overs than he really needs to. For the sake of the team he need to rectify this. A good captain uses all his resources not abuses the power.
In future he need to explore other options first before himself bowling 4 overs specially slogging overs. He could have tried Aftab/Alok one/two overs in the middle, or even one/tow more overs by Masharfee.
Letting Rasel, Razzak and/or Sakib bowl the last few overs is more safe bet then let Ash or Mashrafee bowl in the slogging overs. Beacuse Rasel, Razzak and Sakib tend to use their brain along with their skills whereas the rest don't.

I think ash has learnt from this mistake, he will never repeat this mistake to bowl in the last overs of a match. What was he thinking? I was shaking my head in disbelief.
Anyhow, we have to forgive and overlook this blunder, as he redeemed himself,
It was a joy to watch him bat, it was like seeing the Ashraful that I have admired all along.I was overjoyed to see that he broke Jayasuria's record for the fastest 50 in20/20's. he has quite a few records now. If only he can be a bit ore consistent with the bat and forget about the bowling.
The first day of Ramadan was indeed a lucky day for BD. Allah will forgive our guysfor not fasting.
Once again, congratulations to team Bangladesh.
