Shakib is easily the best bowler among the all rounders of the two team. But Bravo has the best AR stats by far..i just dont know what happens to shakib's batting in ipl..he hasn't had one conclusive innings in ipl..that 42 of 30 balls was full of chances..he could have been out for 5 and 11..in Ipl and County t20 it looks he cant bat at all

Radio call-ins today morning were full of arrogant Chennai fans claiming they "vill trashh KKR" and "wonly Chennai will win", and "it is is our home stadium so we will win" (some Bavarian team said something similar recently
Even if Shakib doesnt play i would incline towards KKR just because of such arrogance

WOuldn't it be ironic if they got food poisoning or a bad bout of gastro from overindulgence

I think raina would play shak well, dhoni ain't as subtle, more an axe murderer

But I wouldn't midn seeing Bhorta Lee score his 3rd or 4th fifty within 24 balls and again claim as he did in aninterview that he has been

Lol @ reasoning. In Chennai point of view KKR is the most arrogant.

Support KKR but not because of the rival teams' fans.

So this has been a better IPL season that the previous one for Shakib. If I'm not going overboard, can someone please come up with Shakib's stats in both the IPL seasons, so we can have a figurative look and comparison.

2011--bowled 25.3 overs in 7 innings,11 wiks at avg 15.9 SR 13.9 eco 6.86...Only had 3 chances in batting High score=26 of 16

2012--bowled 30 overs in 8 innings,12 wiks at avg 16.25 SR 15 eco 6.50...high score=42 of 30

So bowling wise almost the same..but certainly had a better batting season this year..with shakib you know he'll improve..so next year is going to be a better one

I got nothing against CSK man- they have a good balanced team, don't have the politics and controversies of the other teams, and a good captain in MSD the Axe Murderer (it's a compliment)

Lee nonetheless had a partial shot
"that's why Kallis is the best allrounder in the world"
No doubt Kallis is a class above after so many yrs but shak has dserved his current ranking and the parting shot was more from sour grapes at shak replacing him-even in aus lee hd a go at clarkey who I regard as a captain

Again Lee went for 42

As I said before people have ben too afraid to go after narine, once they go for him, he is susceptible like any other bowler-no doubt he has been the best KKR bowler but not by as a huge a margin as the media has made it out to be

12 Nekre

Maybe stat-wise not much of a difference, but unlike last year this year he got 2 MoM awards and a DLF maximum 6 award and also, Karbonn Kamal(It had to be Kamal ) Catch award. He was also a very key figure behind the team's reaching the finals and then winning it!

Manvinder "The Manhandler" Bisla does it again, Hilfenhaus and co will have nightmares to come after the serious manhandling

one good thing about CSK is the bounce-back ability. We will get in to the play-offs next season come what may.

CSK have been the mst consistent side and the best side over all the IPL seasons so I can see them having another good season next year

As it is I've always like Bisla and it's good to see him do well

Honestly if KKR have a player like Bisla who can make big scores then there is no need for KKR to have McCullum. KKR dont need openers. They need a solid middle order batsmen like Cameron White, Dave Hussey, JP Duminy or maybe even Kevin Pieterson. This players are solid batsmen and will get the runs for us in the middle order. If we dont buy a player like that then we could use someone like Eoin Morgan or ten Doeschate.

So i suggest we get rid off McCullum as he isnt needed. If Bisla get injured then we have Brad Haddin to back up.

Brett Lee seems to be expensive in his bowling. Im dont know even Yusuf Pathan even deserves to be in the team. KKR's strength is spin so they should stick with that more.

KKR would be a much better team if they have a team like this
1. Gambhir
2. Kallis
3. Bisla
4. Duminy/White/Pieterson/Hussey/Morgan/ten Doeschate
5. Shakib
6. Tiwary
7. Das
8. Bhatia/Shukla
9. Abdulla
10. Narine
11. Balaji

Shakib started his 2012 IPL journey with a dropped catch and finished it with a Karbon Kamal catch

That would be great

That's the best thing about Shakib he just can't accept failure.. if he fails in any department he will make sure to come with a best performance next time.. remember his pathetic batting form during the Pak ODI and next time we see a wonderful 144 innings from him .. again we got worried about his bowling in Asia Cup and we see him among the top spinners in IPL !! and we still label him as lazy
