There are folks here who've endured two decades of heartache supporting BD Cricket, and there's a still a long way to go on this tough, torturous journey to the summit of World Cricket. It's the diehard, faithful fans like these who are the foundation of our cricket communitiy... NOT bandwagon-hopping friend-for-a-day types. To the latter I say: good riddance! You choose not to support? Fine! See you in 2013/2015.

But to those who choose to stick it out, I say: Never Stop Believing! (Redundant, I know.)

I will lose interest pretty soon if we have the same selectors, same coaches and same set of 16-18 players are in the master plan for next 4 years.

If the changes does'nt happen in BCB management, team selections and head coach who thinks we shaould stick with these 25 players for next 4 years, I see no hope and there is no point waiting my time depriving my sleep and watching trhe same team playing.

I want to see more new blood, I want to see more comepetion, I don't want to hear from our head coach , "yes player X is not performing, but we don't have any substitute to replace him" .

No. But I am tired of:

Siddons and his methods.
Tamim and his big mouth (+vuri.) (I still like batsman Tamim)
Shakibs disrespect.
Our constant batting failure.

I lost interest in this WC, but definitely not in BD cricket.

They're a young team and if these players can continue to play together (well some of them need to be dumped), they can grow into stronger team.
You can look at it another way. ENG was perfect in must-win matches. We were 2-off-3.

What is there except winning? In Pat Riley's famous words, "There is win and there is misery!" Guess which we are right now.

I hope to do that same. If we live another 30 years, we'll both be close to 80!

If I did that my wife will banish me to the couch, my daughter probably will try to banish me out to the backyard!

This is probably one of the most exciting moments of BD cricket.....so why would I lose interest. A lot of changes are coming, hopefully, and would be very interesting to see their effect. Building a team is a different kind of excitement that I feed off of.....so still as interested as ever.

As our very own Rayhanna apa said,

"Sticks and stones may break me but whips and chains excite me." So there...no amount of sheer pressure in rack would pull me apart from BD cricket. No sir.
