The excessive and at times only use of Hindi/Urdu by Bangladeshis in Facebook/Twitter/regular conversation is extremely..I repeat, extremely irritating. Express your thoughts either in English or Bangla.
I have seen entire conversations done in Urdu in FB by pure Bangladeshis who have no affiliation to Indo/Pak whatsoever. There was a time when regular Bangladeshis would start talking in Urdu with their Pakistani 'brothers'. But now, we do it among ourselves.

Abbey yaar, Ye 2013 hain, saab kuch chalta hain. Urdu/Hindi bolne se hamara "ishtatush" barta hain. Itna tension kiu le ta hain? Tension le ne ka nahin, tension de ne ka hain..
I know what u r saying bro. It is disgraceful tbh. Fortunately, I didn't come across any Bangladeshi who express their thoughts in Hindi/Urdu. But there will always be some parasites out there. You have to spray medicines to eliminate those. I hope you know what that medicine is

Haha apni dekhi bhaloi janen shei shob bhasha.
Bhai, this trend is getting very common among the school and univ students now. I see my own friends conversing in Hindi/Urdu in Facebook.I don't have any grudge against these languages but I can't accept it when our own people prefer them over Bangla. My 4 year old cousin in Dhaka is more fluent in Hindi than Bangla as she watches all cartoons dubbed in Hindi. Shaggy says "Scooby kaha chupa gaya" and Scooby replies "Dar lagta hain, main yahaan hoon"..

thank you for your prayers, appreciate it.
when someone else's parent dies it automatically triggers a strange fear in our hearts, and We probably don't even feel 10% of the pain felt by the ones who lose.

RIP.
I know how you feel Simon. I lost my parents and many of my relatives while living abroad. An unbearable pain.
My prayers are with you and your family Simon.

Very sorry to hear about your loss Simon Bhai. Hang in there.
I lost my dad 4 years ago and didn't get to say goodbye while living in USA. Its a dreadful feeling - and I am still not over it. It is tough. Make sure you spend time with your family - always.

Simon, let me share my best wishes for his soul.
The person in my mind is Aaron Swartz. Who says information age is less brutal than dark one?
R.I.P. fighter.
