ECB chairman Giles Clarke has called for Pakistan's return as a host of international matches and said an ICC World XI would tour the country "in due course" since it is still not possible for national teams to visit. Pakistan has not hosted international cricket since the March 2009 terrorist attack on the Sri Lanka team.
"World cricket must keep giving Pakistan cricket the chance to fund itself and move forward, to do something for the spectator in Pakistan," Clarke wrote in the September issue of The Wisden Cricketer magazine. The security challenges are enormous but we cannot allow the terrorists to win. They must lose by an innings - repeatedly.

Who will you include in such a team, keeping in mind that Srilankans, as well Indians are unlikely to participate in anything in India.
I will soon post my team.

This is wishful thinking. It aint gonna happen. i dont see any international matches in pakistan for the next 10 years, not as long as Afghanistan is occupied by the Americans.
The Taliban and radical muslims believe that any kind of sports are haram, and will even kill to stop it. I feel sorry for the pakistani people because they are deprived of seeing their team play at home. They can only watch games on TV.

I am not going to put any of our boys in the prospective world XI to tour Pakistan. I think the first team to tour Pakistan should be an MCC XI comprising of ex-pakistan and new exciting british-pakistani talents.

LOL. Yeah though many of us dislike Ash it would be too much of a punishment.

My Question is:
why this will be held in Pakistan !? The country is currently dealing with dangerous flood, not a secured place due to Taliban and terrorists.
and how much enough money can be earned from there to raise fund? If country like Aus/Ind/England can host it on behalf of Pakistan, the amount of fund will be more!

if it's held in pakistan, other than afghanistan, no one is going to play there. has the situation improved since the attack on the lankan players ? I think it has much worsened since then.
the best place is of course england since there is a large pak diaspora there. but the english grounds have faced losses in hosting the neutral tests, let alone make enough profit to send to pakistan.
why not just pass the hat around and send the proceeds to PCB, in stead of this harebrained scheme.
