Default HongKong Cricket Sixes

I was actually watching the matches yesterday and today. It was so exciting to watch .. super hitting .. in 4 overs scores crossing 70/80 can you imagine the amount of hitting !! This tournament could be used to create some good finishers in ODI/T20.

There was a news of BD playing in this tournament, but didnt see them.

You realize they play in much smaller field, not with cricket ball, only 5 fielders are out there? It doesn't take quality hitting ability to hit 6s. Faltu cricket.

Btw last time Bangladesh played, how come they are not playing this year? Everyone send their U-19 or B teams, and we send Aftab Ashrafuls. We still lost

I realize all the facts, despite all those, it's worth watching 48 runs being scored in an over or 125 + in 5 overs. Needs trimendous hitting ability.

Talking about how different it is from other formats of cricket, yet still it is cricket my friend. Being a cricket fan, If I can like other sports like Football, Basketball, Golf etc which are so different than cricket, why not something which is just another variation of cricket itself?

You haven't watched these matches I'm sure.

I watched it last time. Sorry but I wasn't as amused by it as you are. This is just a failure version of T20. T20 actually takes hitting ability and a plan to score quick runs, this is just blind slogging.

Surely slogging but not blind for everyone. Their are blind sloggers in every form of cricket. And it is definitely different than T20, that's the reason to watch.

A different format of cricket only, infact I'm equally amazed by Beach cricket as well. All forms of cricket.

I used to be a regular in watching HongKong sixes. This year I missed it, saw nothing in cricinfo or myp2p schedule. It's fun for sure.

Bangladesh used to play in the Hong Kong Sixes back in the days. The players were pretty charged up after the ICC trophy win and a Bangladesh team consisting of Atahar and Rafique among others beat star studded Indian and Australian teams in one of the competitions. Atahar was bad a** - hit a six off the last ball in one of the games to topple the target.

We should arrange a beach cricket in Coxs Bazar too, just to promote the place.
Too bad, we couldn't built a stadium there yet, despite hosting World Cup.

Hahaha

BK Dada, if you ever try that, please dont field in close to Ash/Aftab etc type batsmen, They generally miss the ball thrown at them... One marriage saving tips ...
