a very very sad end to Indians....

match is drawan, rain washed-out today's play Update (6:00 GMT) - rain has eased up considerably, just a slight
drizzle in the air at the moment, according to the groundsman it
will take at least two and a half hours to remove the covers once
it stops raining.
right now the players are taking lunch, umpires will come out for
an inspection at 12:30 local time(7:00 GMT)
we will have to wait and see if the damage done to the outfield can
be rectified
Update (1:03 local time - 7:30 GMT) - still drizzling slightly over
here, the umpires have had their inspection and decided to call
off the day's play!
and that means the match is drawn, a sad end to a day that promised
so much

The good thing about Bangladesh playing a test at the same time as India is that nobody here seems to bother about the progress of the India/Australia matches

India is on the brink of losing the test and the series, unless someone plays a superhuman innings. I won't count that out though it will be very diffcult. Aussie bowlers are fired up and on a mission. India will have to chase 500+ in almost two days!! But saying that, anyone player from India's top 1 to 6 ( minus chopra ) have the capability to strike a double and build major partnerships. They have done it before but going by this series, its unlikely. Indian batsmen have been a major dissapointment. People will point fingers at the absence of McGrath and Warne now in the last seris in Aus where Indian bastmen did really well. Its amazing how the Aussie batsmen have shown this sereis. Someone always plays a major innings. Hayden and Langer hasn't done much and still that is ignored. Katich, Martin, Clarke, lehmann ( 70 was crucial ), gilchrist ..so many
