Paul Plose: The new national team physio
Cricket team's new physio arrives
Sports Reporter
Source: Daily Star
Paul Plose, the new physiotherapist of Bangladesh national cricket team, arrived in Dhaka yesterday.
The Tigers, who were without a physiotherapist since the end of John Gloster's stint, had been temporarily aided by fellow Australian Robbie Hunt during the home series against India and Zimbabwe.
The first assignment for Plose, who also is an Australian but was born in New Zealand, will be next May's tour of England where Bangladesh play two Tests and then feature in a one-day tri-series that also includes Australia.
"The BCB (Bangladesh Cricket Board) will sign a contract with him (Plose) after chief executive Macky Dudhia returns from vacation. The new physio will accompany the team in England, but it was yet to be decided whether the contract will be for two years or a shorter one," said Ali Asif Khan, vice-president of the cricket operation committee of BCB.

I'm sure out previous physio has emailed/phoned him saying what to expect of the erratic Rafique. But i'm sure whatever misunderstanding they had was all in good terms.
Now we can call him "pagla" rafique from now on!
I think our previous physio Leipus, did a wonderful job on getting our boys fit and train them hard. Our boys were in extremely bad shape both physically and mentally before Leipus joined in and they seemed to be in their best shape!!!
Lets hope this guy can help prepare our pace bowlers bit more so that they don't break down int he middle of an important match, especially aamader noyoner moni "Mashri"!

Priceless!!! LOL
Anyway, here's to hoping he'll do a Gloster; pick up the language, and continue to keep our players in shape with workouts that are individualized and effective.

Unacceptable!! I am going to slap you with the same lawsuit that I was planning to slap on Ravi Shastri! How can you not know the difference between the ex Bangladesh physio and the ex India physio?

Sham - let me know if u need any dirt on either Ravi shastri or chyicarus. Our mayor (ctg mayor mohiuddin) will send in a truckload and dump it in front of their home. If you are considreing garbage for Ravi, don't worry, the mayor specializes on that as well.
What is Paul Ploses' resume like ? Any idea what/who hez been involved with ?
