In that case do you think that he should start opening the innings again?

jo-sn if Jo gets out within 3/4 overs then Rajin and aftab is moved back to Rajin's spot, else
Aftab
Ash
Bashar
Rajin
Alok
pilot
rafique

So purely depending on the situation

Don't you guys think that we should be more concerned about our bowling line-up. Because BD already have 6 fixed batsmen, and there position will never fluctuate( Omar, Nafees, Bash, Ash, Aftab and Masud). On the other hand, we have approx 6 outstanding bowlers ( Rafique, Mash, Shahadat, Enamul, Razzaq, Rasel or maybe Tapash), from which we need to pick 4. According to me the 4 bowlers should be
*Mash
*Rasel
* Rafique
and
*Shahadat/ Enamul (NOT Razzaq)

Once that is taken care of, we jus need one more batsman, preferably an Alrounder, and I would go for Alok.....

I dunno if Bashar would go back to no.3 in ODI's. He has been batting at no.5 and Ashraful at no.4, though ideally I would like to see Ashraful at no.3. Leaving things as they are, it will be interesting to see who comes at no. 3. Aftab is a candidate, but he has done well at no.6 in the limited number of matches he has played. He had success at no. 3 in one game against Zimbabwe where he had a 81 not out. So, I won't be surprised if Alok is sent up at no. 3. He won't bat at no.9 again. That was their excuse to bring him in slowly, to bat him at no.9, so no pressure is there if he fails, as he batted at a bowlers spot that has no expectation whatsoever. He has moved up gradually in the pecking order of batting since the no.9 debacle. They love his technique, power and counterattacking ability and if the gradual promotion is any indication, don't be surprised if at a certain point of the series ( if not today ), he is moved up to no.3 to fill the apparent vacancy. If you notice, there aren't too many specialist batsman in the squad, unless you count Rajin and he only figures in their opening plans.

It seems more fans prefer Bashar at no. 3 position but I think the team Management prefers himat either 4 or 5 position depending on situation.

Probably he should be at number 3 at test and number 5 at ODI.
