Default Sammy: "We want to win in all formats against Bangladesh.."

Quote:
"It is more of a belief factor. We have played some good series over the years where we were competing against high-ranked teams, now we believe we can be even more competitive and get results over higher-ranked teams," Sammy said in Mirpur. "We have a team goal which we want to achieve but this is going to be a step-by-step process.

"It's important to come here and win matches and it's a challenge we put on ourselves. Just like we forced ourselves to try and win the T20 World Cup, we achieved that and we are now looking forward to the next series which is against Bangladesh. We believe we can achieve our goals."

Sammy seems putting same value winning T20 WC as to win against the tigers?

^^^ The tigers got their first off field win already! Now, let's win it in the field...

They will probably win test series but I think we will give them a good run for the money in ODI. I doubt we can pull of a series.

Sammy will do more than win, if you have player like abul and shahadat do the job for them.

So, anything less than 8-0 is a failure for WIndies?!

Sorry I meant it can only be 9-0 now instead of 10-0...1 FC gone, 2 Tests, 5 ODIs, 1 T20 and dancing.

Well the practice game series ends in 0-0. Oh well there is one more. Anyway Good start by Abul. Now only if Nantu Ghotok danced a bit in the middle....we had a chance for 4 days of rain and draw the first Test. Why selectors left out all important Ash is beyond me...

"We beat New Zealand in both Tests and performances came from different players. We come here with one mission: to win all three series in Bangladesh."

Winning each series doesn't mean winning all matches....

ok, test series finished, gladly both teams managed to bring spectators for all 10 days of white color cricket. After successfully handled the first step, real challenge is ahead for WIndies to achieve the goal by deafeating dangerous Shakib-less BD.

Historically, our best chance is always the first test.
That's where we come very close only to throw it all away and then surrender in the second test.
That's exactly what happened this series too.

No chance mate. We showed mercy in Test, dont expect us to be a kind host during ODI and T20.

Just because the opponents are still not oriented and set with the conditions and our newbies... They take one match to figure out everything and then give the thrashing in 2nd test... We can't figure them out in any amount of time...
