Ngidi's is clocking in the high 130s to low 140s. His height is helping him with the uncomfortable bounce to the batsmen.

He's a faster version of Jason Holder. I'm impressed so far what I see.
Looking forward to see him and Kagiso spearheading this bowling attack.

Niroshan Dickwella is putting on a show here...RRR is below nine, he's batting on 39 off 26

Paterson to Gunaratne, FOUR, goes for the short ball, swings the line, the top edge flies away over the keeper! And Gunaratne then grabs a stump, thinking the game was over...!

Score tied.

A little bit of a mixup...batsman top edged the ball over the keeper's head and he started celebrating...not knowing that 1 more run was required...

It was Mushy-level celebration...

SL wins it neverthelesss and also the series.

So not all teams are playing that bad abroad we may see a England comeback in India T-20 series as well. England is a better T20 team and Ashwin/Jadeja will be out for this T20 series.

I was a little curious about the ball that went to the boundary. It appeared as if he pulled out the stumps before the ball crossed the boundary line...I'm not confident that was a four, it was more like Hit Wicket, and should have be ruled out....

THere's some law out there that explains this..

Away from home, we are just bad... really bad man....

we are the worst amongst sub continent teams....
that SL team was the least experienced yet won... why? = Good maturity and cricket intelligence.

The good thing about this series is that the young guns of SL are performing...Dickwella, Dhananjaya, Gunratne, Sandakan...

Let's not underrate this SL team one bit.

one series in 3 years away from asia. And we are really bad? How about India can't win against Aus in Aus in test for ton of years now? What does that make them?

8-0 is really bad man... whatever you try to say and defend it..

I don't know if any of the sub continent team has ever been ripped apart like us..

we lost because of our maturity level and intelligence...

most of SL cricketers are highly educated about cricket since school days..
they have a different system that brings them up very well...

lets not compare others... they have shown they can win away from home..
its never easy to win.. for sure... but its very hard to lose 8-0

No Asian team has won in Australia in Australia, that's because Australia is a great team. But India won the first ever Test series they played in NZ. Pakistan beat NZ in NZ in 1970s. SL beat NZ in NZ in 1999. Even, Zimbabwe beat Pakistan in Pakistan in 1997.

Start getting drawn series ... will get series wins after. If you think its not possible then you won't ever get it

Dude please, 8 years is not "Tons of years", in 2003-04 we drawn a freaking series 1-1 against an all time great Aussie team in their own backyard,at a time when they used to beat teams for fun, we were fiercely competitive in 2007-08 as well though lost the series by 2-1, won numerous ODIs and T20s there, we were utterly pathetic in 2011-12, gave tough competition in 2014-15 although the stats don't show that, at least do a bit of research before posting

I'm allowed to say, whatever I want under the rules of this site. I have an opinion, like it or not.

Didn't you not get the meanin of win, as in a series win?

It doesn't take a rocket science to know India has never won a test series in Aus. Facts are facts.

Excuses.

Despite being the worlds richest board, all the help and facilities in the world, Mighty, population. Dont include rest asians, because rest are meant to be inferior in wealth and population than yours. You failed to win a test series in Aus despite god knows how many years. Accept the fact

Wow shifting goalpost now?

How many teams managed to achieve that since 1990?

If you wanna find solace in we not being able to win a series in Aus, who am I to deprive you of that?

PS: In the last post I came out a bit rude, I did not intend to, sorry about that

Mate. Who said it isnt bad? Your missing the context. Bangladesh has not been outside southern asian for about 3 years. Going to NZ bouncy wicket it isn't easy even for big brothers Pakistan and India. It's no shame BD losing 8-0 in context. Scoreline doesn't suggest BD was closer than Pakistan, other asian sides of recent times to get good result out NZ tour, if it weren't for the Brainfarts lead by Al Iceman!
