AF, how are they planning to send the proceeds to BD and distribute it?

Could I pay in BDT here in Dhaka? I have around 28K collected for the rehabilitation process and would like a newer channel to push it through and BC seems a perfect platform!

An auntie is collecting it. Not sure if she will be able to deliver it because she just left for Bangladesh for personal reasons yesterday.

I think that the key will be the distribution. We need to have a good plan for distribution and monitoring. I always favor giving a few people enough so that they can improve their lives going forward, instead of giving 100 taka each to a lot of people. It helps for a day, but that's it.

According to Bangladesh Bank circular every Bank employe's one day salary has been taken for saver, thats a good amount of money for savar. Good initiative from Bangladesh Bank

Wait so these Bank Employee's won't get paid for that 1 day? Did they get a say in this?

No, its the decision of the central bank. Bank employes has noting to say in these. To be Honest my one day salary was also taken and i dont mind. i dont this anybody would have mind. for junior officers one day salary isn't much..its about 500-600 tk and for senior officers they earn much more so one day salary wont make them starve to death.
