Just because you coached Anamul Haque, it does not mean he is ready 4 internationals or as u say one of the best youngester for the future. Ian Pont you should remember you are a Bowling Coach.
Mominul Haque has been really impressive when ever he has played for the Bangladesh A team away from home! This guy deserved a spot ahead of Anamul!
why are you comparing a bowler with a batsmen? I told you u are a bowling coach

be polite man.I dont think u have half knowledge about cricket compared to ian.

2 warm up matches - or any kind of matches - shouldn't be used to judge anyone unless it fits a pattern of performance. Does Anamul have a pattern of single digit scores? Even if he has, everyone here knows he's more of a longer version player than a 50 or 20 over guy. At the very very least reserve judgement after the group matches are completed.

Are you kidding me MSM. I dont understand why you are not banned yet. Always getting onto other peoples skins. You are arguing about so called qualifications with Ian Pont who coached Dhaka Gladiators and also led them to BPL Championship. Btw MSM who do you coach again? You have 0 qualifications in the field of cricket and Ian Pont has all the experience. And you still want to argue with who has talent or not? If Coach says Anamul has talent then respect that. He knows much better then you.
I feel embarrassed that coach has to confront these type of people on BC.

i think quite alot of people noticed anamul's talent while he was playing age group cricket. then he started performing really well in the NCL FC competition, so he's been earmarked as a talent for a good 4 years now (ever since he was 15/16) and domestic FC performance and seeing him in the BPL brought him to be selected for the national team. he's not just suddenly become a prospect, people have considered him one for a few years now. maybe he shouldn't have been slected for t20s as he's not done that well in t20s or 50 over games so far, but he's done really well in FC matches he's played to date. still a great prospect, glad he got some international experience.

haha ofcourse one who has been banned will back up another who has been banned
I think the reason why you and MSM has been banned in the past is for exactly for that reason and I don't think you have understood yet why you have been banned in the past. How can someone like you who has been banned in the past, and me who hasnt been banned be telling me to check the rules? please don't interfere in what has nothing to do with you, i was simply trying to stop this unneccasary attack on Ian.

We all have opinions. Some opinions carry more weight based on inside knowledge and understanding. Others are not based on anything much at all.

And the truth will set you free my friend.
Appreciating cricket, developing talent and identifying a good player takes understanding of your subject matter. Anamul's brilliant U19 WC as captain and batsman is a sign of his growing maturity.
The future is rosy for him

You don't forget anything do you?
Unfortunately, the chap had to take an extended leave of absence from the forum.
You played Anamul while at Dhaka Gladiators. Is that where you got to know him?

Can't really blame the foolish since most people don't know the value of talent. Failed in practice matches and unofficial T20 means he's crap. At least at U-19 level Anamul showed his class and far exceeded the likes of Azam, Aslam, Chand, Zol, Bell-Drummond, and arguably outperformed de Koch and Bowes too! And before we get apron-clad sissies blathering on about plates and dishes, we only played one team without Test status (Namibia) and that was one of Anam's LOWER scores!

^^ I am ok with people not understanding the subject matter, but have problem thinking them selves as expert on the subject matter without any background i have problem with. These guys should be single out in bc so that in future what ever they say people would know where they come from... Unfortunately bd is full of these kind of people...
