Somebody should fix the spell 'looser' to 'loser' in the thread title.

He didn't say Bangladesh cannot draw the test. He said Bangladesh cannot win the test.
So it is not as much insulting as it sounds.

I thought so too.
Our bowling is_pretty_ordinary. Unless Shahadat and Rubel have done some magic with their bowling behind the scenes and Robin stops bowling a 4 ball every over (which would equate to me becoming US President one day), we will probably find it too hard to pick up 20 Indian wickets. In this series, we need to bat out of our skins to be able to take the game to the last day. Hopefully our batsmen will be up to the task.
You'd think one would take inspiration from such a comment and bowl his heart out, but unfortunately our fast bowling is led by a man who bowls 65 mph knee-height bouncers when he's charged up.

The top reasons why Indian team rocks
1) Ishant Sharma is an express fast bowler who swings the ball both ways at 170 kph. The fastest bowler of the decade + the most talented new comer. (Nope he's not)
2) Harbajhan Swing is the best wrist spinner and the inventor of dosra
3) India lost World Cup 2003 because Sachin didn't play (But he did)
4) The only reason why India always lost to Australia was because of Steve Bucknor
5) Indian umpires are the most honest and reliable sources, infact there are 4 indian umpires in the ICC Elite panel ( I will be surprised if there is a single 1)
6) Gautam Gambhir and Sehwag are the best opening batsmen in the world
7) Sehwag taught Viv Richards how to bat
8) India is the best team in the world because we try to play more games at home and less away to have a better winning rate in Tests.
Yes i am a biased Indian fan and I am a computer engineer. (Sorry no offense but I have come across a lot of Indian users who thinks this way, I bet in the Indian forum they might even compare Sehwag with Bradman lol) how pathtic?

Every team got a low score like that. When India toured south africa we bowled SA out for 84. Come up with better.

According to normal human beings like you and I, he certainly didn't but to blind and biased Indian fans he is the only bowler with different variations and the highest wicket taker in Oids and Test.

I have no problem with what Sehwag said as it is frankly the truth. The only way we can win the match is if india declares twice and we out-bat them which I think it very unlikely. There is no way we can pick up 20 wickets, I'd be glad if we could even pick up 15. I'm not being a pessimist but just a realist. Sehwag is actually being quite nice to us by calling us "ordinary". Winning 3 out of 61 Test matches is pitiful and a long ways away from "ordinary". Sure, he acknowledged the fact that we can be dangerous in ODIs, but can you blame him for calling us not a threat in Tests? Hopefully we will draw a match, but India SHOULD be expecting to cream us as they are the #1 side in Tests.

I don't care one bit about what Shewag has to say. But, I am interested to see how we respond. This is the perfect 'bulletin board material", as they say in US, and I am happy that Shewag has served it. Its up to us how we respond. We can either be too emotional on the field, which can be counter-productive, or we can approach it in a calm manner by focusing on the small details, without ever forgetting the quotes served on a platter.
Love Jamie's response.

Okay guys, why not take it from this angle: Sehwag is so scared of BD that he needs to throw demeaning remarks at us in order to put us off and inspire his teammates.

exactly. sehwag talks like he bats. he doesn't care for political correctness (I doubt if he has even heard of the word) and speaks his mind.
I for one prefer his type to the clones who turn up at every press conference and say the same statements in numerous variations. "we will try our best" "we are not taking anyone lightly" "we played good cricket" ........... MEH !

he has come up from s very simple background and he is uncluttered in his approach to life. that's all. if you call it arrogance then it is arrogance. I would call it simple-mindedness.
