Nice video ... Thanks for posting. I agree with him, we really need lifting our image. No point exploiting poverty for Aids. That Indian government and media has started doing since 1990. A positive image can benefit us a lot.

Please submit all positive pictures of BD to his website.

Totally. I think their season premier series was in Dhaka and they took people to the worst of places. Places where a normal Dhakaiya won't regularly go. Yes, I know we have slums but we also have some good places as well.

What's a normal Dhakaiya? The middle class and upper class elites are but a small minority. The places they went to are not the worst places - they are the places where you find the real NORMAL Dhakiyas.

I don't think you find normal dhakaiyas in a landfill collecting dead rats... and yess that was a challenge...

Puran Dhaka is a maze and really beautiful if you can capture the essence of it (the food, locals, old architecture etc ), I would have much rather preferred amazing race captured that instead of landfill and a sketchy car garage....

We are good in denial .. Like shouting around we aren't Minnows... While the people only want the foreigners to take pictures in Bijoy sharani, parliament, Gulshan Banani...but not their backyards.... unfortunately the guys land up in those places where majority of 16 m people live..... But yes, the people of Dhaka doesn't consider those people to be from Dhaka, they are only counted to claim it to be a mega city in terms of population... They are not for showing..

what man? I love that amazing race. I rather see that than not see anything at all. I felt at home watching it.. twice... It was great.

This video, this canadian kid obviously got emotionally attached to bangladesh... almost crying. He became a true bangaalee... emotional!!

People want 2 week vacation.. to get away from work. They dont' wanna a freaken life change.... Bangladesh is a good visit place for summer trips for young college kids I think. So they can have perspective in life and would learn to appreciate life. BD i dn't think is that of a great palce for a 2 week vacation.

what he says is true about most Bangladeshi people. resilience, being happy with little, giving without expecting anything..... habu bhai probably took a week's salary hit trying to feed this guy with chiken polau...or sacrificed his own 5 year murgi his wife has been raising.

anyways this guy looks like humayun ahmed and is seeing beauty everywhere like HA. He should start writing stories.... maybe he can start with habu's 17 year old daughter.. if any. :p

I hate the audience! They make it very awkward.
