Thats so mean. After he has served Bangladesh's cricket so well and for so long how can you say that about him? He has given his life to cricket and obviously he loves to do it. How can you hope somebody gets hurt and never get to do what he was born to do - to play cricket. Ofcourse, he'll be replaced pretty soon. But hoping for an injury to be serious? Come on!?!?!?

Golla has served us better than any other opener. He features in the partnership records for 1st, 2nd and 3rd wickets. He's also carried the bat more times (both in ODI and tests) than anyone else.

Plus he appears on our very short list of test centurions.

We need Golla tomorrow more than anyone . We need to survive all day.

And remember who has the record for it.

The following is an assessment of Bangladeshi players by John Buchanan. I apologize if it has already been posted

John Buchanan surely has some lack of knowledge about Bangladesh.

Default Poor Golla!

He was fighting so hard out there until came up against Ashoka De Silva, possibly the worst umpire that ever officiated a game of Test Cricket!!

According to some, Golla does not like playing the strike bowlers. Well, why not put him to bat in the middle in the TEST macthes (only). They always try middle order bats in the opener slot, why not try the patience of Golla in the middle ?

Also, from now on, he can picture Ashoka's every head on the ball, 200 will be there in no time. In fact, we can have the mfg'ers to paste Ashoka's face on each ball so the bats don't have to picture it, it will be there to be hit all around the field.

Javed Omar played the new ball in this innings too. And nice to see some support for him! But Mushfique surprised me the most......concentration personified!
