Default 2010 phase II in poetry

Phase I is done and phase II of 2010 begins for us with another 14 - 20 internationals in store. One thing we can't complain about this year is not getting enough matches with quality opponents. Unfortunately, we can't say the same for our opponets.

Defending champions Pakistan
Recent months have been anything but fun
Now Gul is lost to injury
Can BD secure their first victory?

Aussies look strong with new found respect for T20
Even with Brett Lee out, the firepower is aplenty
BD go in an underdog despite ranking higher
But Aussies will have little to fear of a T20I record so dire

From T20 to Tests, the grand old format beckons in England
Its almost like going from playing in the snow straight to sand
This will be a true test for BD, hopefully not a bummer
As a full strength English squad kicks off their summer

Format switches continue with a trip to the Asia Cup
As Afghanistan wonder why ACC shows them no love
Can BD stop sliding down the losing slope?
Its their last chance before things wrap up in Europe

The English face us in three one-dayers
Maybe the fans will get an answer to their prayers
Now at this point if a win isn’t secured
We’ll be 0-26, time to get liquored

Finally things look up with associates joining the dance
Ireland we’ll play twice in a non-world cup match so we have a chance
Even if not, the Scotts and the Dutch are next
If we go on to 0-30, it will be the darkest time for BD cricket

Nice work

Although a lot of the rhymes only work if spoken in an accentuated Bangla accent.
