He is not a T20 or the matter of fact a limited over batsman at all, never was.

Imrul scored loads of runs in BPL, but keyword there is strikerate which is only 114.7. And this would probably be lower in tougher conditions against better bowling lineups.

He is not a T20 player. But dearth of players for that sort of a role means we have no choice.

Imrul 2.0 was as much of an upgrade windows 8.1 was from windows 8. Still crap.

A one legged Anamul is better than an Imrul and Mithun combined.

Anamul if selected will play for himself and score a 39 ball 40. This is why team management dislike this guy.

Even with that the average 30 plus with SR of 120+.

How many of our players have better stats then him?

Mithun average 0.5 after 3 games and Kayes average mighty 8, in 8 games with an SR 75 and with 3 ducks. SS isn't great either...they should have Picked Bijoy and give him a clear signal to hit or get out. He is a lot better hitter than Mithun, and Kayes combined imho

Team management has the option to force Anamul to play an aggressive mould. Shakib, Shabbir and Anamul are the only 3 batsman we have who are consistently good in T20, domestic or international.

the 47 came at a SR of 90.

Anamuls last 5 in T20

Big mistake to not take Anamul. He's much better than Imrul and Mithun in this format

^ Anamul has decent t20i stats to back him up. He has proven can handle pressure at International level, and with the right guidence can play quicker. He is definitely better than Kayes and Mithun combined for sure.

My post was a response to the statement MHRAM made about Anamul being consistently good in this format. Whether he can handle pressure or if he is better then Kayes or Mithun is a different argument. Anamul did have an excellent start to his T20 career as the stat indicates. But its also true that he has lost his touch in the last 1 year

Typical BC. All batsmen failed except shabbir but we are making Imrul the scape goat. He is an opener and an experienced one. We need him in absence of Tamim. What I dont understand is Mithun wont play as an opener in WC so why not send him where he will bat so he can get some much needed practice. Putting Imrul at 4 we are messing the whole batting order. When Tamim will be back for WC and Imrul out all of our batsmen will find themselves out of their batting position. Unless we make Tamim bat at 4. I had no problem with experimenting in Zim series. But we are lacking tactically.
