17 runs is like a moral victory...someone mentioned in this thread (NightWOLF I think) about losing to India by 20 runs is a good compass for the next T20I World Cup (I'm paraphrasing)

Shabbir needed to to live upto his reputation and strike some big blows at the end. He needed to have a 200+ strike rate. A little bit of support to Mushfiq was all that was required.
Cant wait for Shakib to be back. Shakib would have been able to support Mushfiq better in both games

Stop relying on Sabbir, one of the biggest hacks we ever produced and still being given a spot.

But to me , Washington the guy was the difference between win and lose, and he was deserved to be a man of the match ...he’s 3 key wickets left Bd alone ...

Not a hack imo. He has a decent technique unlike Mithun Ali or Zia.

Somone needs to talk to Liton, the guy so much potential but from the first ball go on he seems unnecessarily in rush with his shots. He should learn how to read the wicket and bowler first, instead of that he starts being impatient. He has to learn how to read the wicket and play merit of the ball, not just from the ball one go go after the bowler.
Soumya is always looks like he is gonna piss on his pant soon the moment he is in the middle, don't know why the guy looks so unease and nervous, after playing in national team for long time. Is that difficult to play just basic shots here there with staight bat and the slowly can go for the big shots, but he seems he is there in mission for taking all the bowler apart fron first ball, if he misses one ball he seems he is world has torn apart, his body langaue become more posessive and fragile. He needs more psychological consult.

Sabbir is out of form, but we really don't have much better player then him reserve becnh. I can tell you Arif is not hard hitter as Sabbir is. From yesterday's batting I'll give sabbir little more time. We need someone in pace balling alll rounder someone like saifuddin in the late order.
Apu is not international material, the guy does't look belong to here, even arafat sunny was much better then him.

Sabbir faced 23 balls. A 42-45 runs off 23 balls. BD could’ve won.

Guy seems to have gone awol.

And what doesnt help is the guy captaining you, is utter garbage.

Sabbir should be coming ahead of Mullah. Dullahs best position at t20 is 7 or 8. Sabbir has wider range of shots. I remember asia cup t20 dullah came late and hit some valueable cameos.

We lost the game in overs 14 , 15 & 16 where our run rate took a nose dive. I blame Shabbir for not scoring boundaries in those overs.

I felt the the 2 early wickets of Liton and Soumya put unnecessary pressure on Tamim when he was actually looking so threatening. Not all lost though, we just need to win our last match to go through. Fingers crossed.
