Default Cricket on Wikipedia

Hello everybody,

I have found the cricket related section on English Wikipedia:

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cricket

It's a sort of cricket encyclopedia, a real must for new cricket fans like me; maybe most of you already know it, but if you scroll down the page and click on *List of cricket topics* you'll find some news maybe not all of you know (and also a couple of pictures of the famous "bodyline"). Also interesting the page on Test Cricket history, and besides you'll find a link to Banglacricket!

Did you know cricket was at 1900 Olympic Games?

That's all about 1900 OG:
"At the 1900 Summer Olympics, a cricket tournament was contested. Only two teams competed, and the French team was consisted of Britons living in Paris."

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cricket...ummer_Olympics

That's another interesting fact:
"??/??/44 - The first ever game played between teams representing their nations was played the USA and Canada."

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Timeline_of_cricket

So, the first ever game between nations at any sport was a USA-Canada in cricket! Strange indeed, thinking of how little the game is popular in those countries at this time.

History of cricket is really fascinating, I hope the game will become popular in Europe and in South America (there is a national team in Argentina, but they are not as good as they are at rugby).

CC Morris library in Haverford, PA houses a very fine cricket collection (certainly the biggest outside a Test nation). If anyone has been there personally, I would love to hear about it from them.
