Default The new "never say die" attitude in our team

It was October 2016. MHRAM was boasting on BC about how Bangladesh has a target big enough to defend. It was the 2nd test against England.

However things did not go Bangladesh's waym eventually MHRAM turned on his PS3 for a small gaming session. Eventually he checked his phone for the score and saw that England lost two quick wickets and we all know what happened from there.

Even against NZ in CT. We faced a near impossible task after being reduced to 33/4. But we came out victorious somehow.

All these wins give us confidence which most matches don't. That win against India in 2007 is of little inspiration. It was a match where we where on top throughout the match. Seldom ofcourse did Bangladesh everwin from the jaws of defeat but things are changing lately.

One week ago. When Bangladesh gave a reasonable target, we felt that Bangladesh would win. But that partnership between Warner and Smith nearly pinned down our hopes. Even when the 3rd day ended many including myself believed that Bangladesh would lose but there was a glimmer of hope because Bangladesh was in similar situation against England but we eventually won.

Even this morning, I expected Australia to run away with the match but we turned the game on his head and now have more than an "outside" chance of winning. This is vastly different from the Bangladesh we would see in the past.

Before, when we were in a difficult position our players would have their heads down. But these days even when things aren't going our way we see positive cricket by the batsman, the fielders still give their hundred percent, bowlers bowl their heart out.

It seems like this team hates losing. There is a saying that a champion is someone who hates losing. It seems like our boys are the same. They don't want to lose.

It's good to see. Hopefully we become more ruthless in the days to come.

We have some gutsy bowlers.

But our batting lineup is filled with crap like Soumya Sabbir Nasir Imrul. Bring in domestic performers like Nasir Litton Mosaddek Tasamul Shanto for a change

Bowling also has to improve big time. The approach is waiting for batsmen to make mistakes.

That wont do. Big difference between approach of Lyon and our spinners. Lyons hunting for wickets. The revs on the deliveries, out thinking batsmen.

We need a spinner like that.

Change the word, 'iconic' with 'Ironic'.

What is dead may never die, but rises again stronger.
