you know whats wrong with BD fans?? they are way too indifferent about everything. Once they won a series in WI suddenly they are the best team, Riyad becomes the best off spinner and so on.
and BD loses a practice game, wehre half of the main players didnt play, they just landed there last night, and we call it coming back to what you call 'reality'

OK, wait for the ODIs. Let's see what happens. The current ZIM team is not the 'faltu' ZIM that we have been playing for the last four years. Even we could not beat that ZIM convincingly last time.

Not the same fans. Three different groups. One World's best. One World's worst. One World's hujug. Where is One World by the way?

You want them to play seriously? Its just a "Practice" match as Iverson used to say.

Losing in practice matches is a good sign. They will be serious in main games.

After travelling for 40 hours transiting thru 4 different airports, and passing few time zones in the process and then getting back to field the very next morning, i'm not surprised to see the result.

They are humans too.

Yes, in 2007 in the WI, after they advanced to the super eight stage in the World cup.
Also, I think that the travelled from Zim, went to WI earlier than other teams, they might have been away more than 9 weeks.

Not to mention that they did not have their own kits and had to share. the match should have been cancelled, as I am sure the boys were suffering from jet lag and lack of sleep.

Half your main players didn't play ? Are you kidding me ? Most of the players that played were part of your "invincible" WI tour. Interesting thing is Zim A too had most of their "main" players playing... we'll have to see how BD does when the series kicks off

look we don't know very many details. losing by such a wide margin is never good, but the facts are that players were probably tired and uncomfortable playing in foreign kits. i'd imagine exact fits were not found for a lot of the boys and hence a tricky situation.

we also don't know how we fielded. perhaps the spinners produced chances that were muffed by the keeper and/or fielders. we don't know.

we also know that this ground is played in a different ground than the ODIs, and that ground is supposed to be spin friendly. who knows what kind of wicket this ground had.

practice matches are practice matches, and lets wait until the end of the first ODI to see whats happening.

.... and if we lose badly in the 1st ODI, then lets wait till the end of the 2nd ODI to see what else is happening.

another idiotic thread from a newbie. Can we restrict thread opening rights to members with atleast 100 posts? and no one should be able to open more than one thread per month unless u r a mod. man! other than the gamday threads...it's hard to havea conversation on this forum. u post something and next day that thread is on the third page on the threads list.

well well well.....its all about qualiy.....the quality of current Zim players are as per to Bangladesh....but BD players are little bit more experienced by playing the top teams regularly....otherwise...in my opinion.....BD Zim and Ire are in the same line.....no wonder we lost to Ireland twice in international cricket and lost 8 out of 24 matches against the weakend Zim team

As for the current series Zimbabwe is favourite....they beat us in Bangladesh twice this year already....and they will definitly be a very tough oponoent to beat in their homeground...i would say we may loose this series by 1-4 or 2-3.....and if we manage to win the seris...it will be tight...may be 3-2....hopefully after the series BD fans will probably get the much clearer picture of the strenght and depth of our national team
