Gabriel did what our SLA's do now a days in SBNS.
We need pacers, with swing and cutters, not only cutter. One arsenal such as a skidder or cutter will take you nowhere.

Lakmal is skipper for the Lankans in this monumental test. The 1st D/N test in the Caribbean

The pitch has juice for the pacers. Some balls are darting about. Resulting in unplayable deliveries.
Devon Smith and Powell got beautiful balls. The one that got Brathwaite got too much on him.
SL bowlers have been superbly disciplined.
A good match this is shaping up to be. Batsmen have to dig in and fight in old-fashioned test cricket way.

I hope the wickets play the same in the BD series.

This Kumara kid is a revelation for SL. Fast and nasty.
Taskin used to be like this, until he lost it and start bowling short balls

Btw aklemalp, have you seen much of chemar holder, do you think he’s ready for international cricket yet? Not having such a good A tour atm but from bits and pieces I’ve seen of him over the years he looks promising.
Also when is alzarri meant to be back on the park? Going to have a decent pace attack with Gabriel, roach and alzarri.

Rajitha is a good line and length bowler. He bowls late 120s to late 130s.
A very disciplined bowler. Enough to trouble the batsmen

I haven't followed the A team in England. I know Hemraj and Blackwood are the openers.
Alzarri still injured. Hope we get to see him in the upcoming series, possibly replacing Miguel Cummins.
I really wanna see Keemo, Shannon, Alzarri, and Roach leading the bowling attack, with Bishoo and Rahkeem proving the spin

Chemar holder has been on the radar awhile, don’t think he’s played much domestic cricket but was in the u19 team and he went to Australia not that long ago (think sometime last year) on some sort of scholarship program.
