but at least the pipeline has given us Jahirul and Imrul...somewhat decent guys we can work with in teh absence of better players.
I agree totally with that part. Let's not go crazy over ash after 1 innings let's see where he is in the averages after these matches as well as how many 100s he's scored. 50s are no good, i want to see big innings.

Hugely disappointed in ctg. No disrespect to barisal but we shouldn't be 202 all out against that bowling attack, considering batting is our strong point. I thought Nafees Iqbal was captain? Anyway he seems to be picking up from last year with his poor form. I really hope the likes of Nazimuddin and Faisal Hossain do well, as well as Mahmudul Hasan. Does anyone know where bouts in Chittagong Division he's from?

His fanboys are not crazy!!
Even Ash is not thinking of immediate return. He wants to play all 5 games and play some big innings.

Barisal bowling attack is not bad. Shafaq and Salauddin are good bowlers. Shafaq averaging just 22 in 29 games. Salauddin averaging 23 in 55 games.

Why did Asif Ahmed open the batting, i though he was a middle order batsmen, it maybe too much pressure asking a 17 year old to open

well, normally asif is an opener but for some strange reason in the u19 team he batted at 6/7.

also he scored two 100 (including 100 in his debut fc match) for barishal last season at the same position.

ashraful scored 100 good.... but anamul and shuvagoto are gonna score bigger hundreds and they will continue to score in later games.

ash is most probably gonna start making single digit score after that as history suggests

Someone, like Asif perhaps, explain why Naeem and Riyadh are still playing when they haven't done jack in an ODI in AGES!
