Dhaka League Inter Club Transfer
Looks like Mohammedan turned out to be the strongest. They kept Nannu and got Durjoy and Moni. Biman seems ok. Victoria doesnt look that strong. However, Abahoni is hammered. They lost almost all good players except Akram.
Tehsin and other Abahoni fans, get ready for another crashing season.

Two words
FOREIGN PLAYERS.
With the national players away (just realized the name I was about to drop will be busy in the WC) it's obvious that the first half of te league will be overrun by a few foreign players.

this is your chance to make a comeback for abahani. the club could also draft habibul-fan to come over for a couple of months. he could attend school over there, couldn't he?

one-sided
The only reason I don't play in the league is because I want to work in the background. If I played my natural game for Abahani, league e hangama lege jabey. All you'll hear is Tehsin this, tehsin that, records will tumble.
I just don't want to take away the fun of competition from the league, you know what I mean ?

Pay as you go
I think most of the players that left Abahani did so after being jacked (were not payed) by Abahani (a-typical Abahani fans can always speak the trouth as it is unlike some other team whose actions are always hush hush as if they have something horrible to hide - don't blame them, club tai omon) officials. I wonder if Abahani's main pakistani player Mohammad Hussein left the team because of the same reason.

hmmm Akram Khan and Fahim Muntasir and others should take this time (especially Javed) to go and play in a better league like Busta Cup or South African provinsial thingy. Maybe other first-class leagues in the sub-continent

H-Fan
They get paid so much better for playing in BD that they want to stick close to home.
It would do them a world of good if they went out and played but most of our sportmen tend to stick closer to home, not that adventerous.
