Default Yummy Yummy…. Chicken for dummy…

Police yesterday arrested a man at city's Mirpur area with 53 dead chickens as he was allegedly going to supply those to local restaurants. Immediately after the arrest, a number of restaurateurs at Mirpur-13 and Pallabi area shut their restaurants.

"The restaurants have been feeding customers dead chickens for a long time, and a syndicate of poultry farm and restaurant employees are involved in the act," Entezar Rahman, officer-in-charge (OC) of Mirpur Police Station.

According to the arrestee, a section of poultry farms and depot employees do not dispose of the dead hens, but instead preserve those for sale in local market.
Next time you order a chicken biriani or a chicken do-piaja or Fried Chicken in local restaurant, you better think twice.

I was reading in some newspaper yesterday that DCC was about to kill 300,000 stray dogs in the city over the next one year. Now, after redaing this post, I am petrified as to the end possibility of the deceased turning up on the menu somewhere.

Unless that fish is from Dholai Beel or Bangshi river.

Pitch-black untreated liquid waste from Savar EPZ gushes into Dholai Beel, flowing eventually into the Bangshi river,

I wonder how many dead chickens (death from natural causes that is) I've already consumed.

hah...nice avatar.

there's a difference i believe. i'm not really a biology guy, but i guess the change in chemical composition resulting from natural death is harmful for us.
