Can Bangladesh make England bat again TODAY??
OK anything and everything could happen has happened today. We got pelted in the morning, fought back in the afternoon, had hope for a 3rd day, then had that hope taken away as england find some reason or the other to extend the day's play.
Now, for a fun question, given that Aftab is not interested in defending and keeping the strike, do you think we can get the remaining 60+ runs in the next few balls and make England bat again - TODAY?

Lol Aftab can request to extend this game for another 2 hours after all sun sets here at 10 PM.

Aftab finished the day with 67*
Can he get his 100 and make England bat again tomorrow?

This is already a win for us. but if we can make england bat tomorrow again that would be a huge victory and a big slap in the face for england. specially before the ashes. they will start the ashes with a broken heart.

That will be awsome if we can do it. Really a refreshing knock from Aftab. He is soooo talented. Some his shots were wonderful. The hook off Flintoff for a six, the staright one down the ground off Harmison or the early square drive off Jones. Great shots.

It will be a great acheivement for us in this England tour no doubt. Hope we do something like the first test against WI at St. Lucia.
I think we have done enough already for this match, so we should take our chances here. Let Aftab play his game, and have Tapash and Mashri support on the side. If Aftab can carry on, yes it's possible.

I do not think it is possible vs a determined England attack in the morning hours.

I don't think this series, however it goes, as long as England win will have any affect on the Ashes.
The one dayers are key. England must get some wins under their belt against Australia to have an assemblance of a chance in the Ashes. England have potential in one day cricket but they play Australia like they played South Africa in the recent one dayers, they are doomed.

i think it is very much possible to make them comeout and bat again. taposh and aftab needs to stay in the wicket. if england gets an early breakthrough then i dont think we will be able to. but lets see what happens. the way bangladesh is playing in this innins we can be optimistic about them avoiding another innins defeat.

Spot on! England's win will be tainted by this disgraceful behaviour by Jones. Shameful. And imagine what the Aussies will make of it - Jones should expect the Mother of all sledges when he encounters them (if he does). "Here comes the cheat"; "He cheats against the minnows"; "You can't trust this Papuan New Guinean Pom" "Here comes the Zebra Finch" ... Just wait
thats wut English fan thinks, lol

A BD win against ENG in ODI will surely break their hearts....
Any way we could have made ENG bat again if only MR ASHRAFUL could learn that a test match lasts more than 5 overs. (i will refrain from the Nafis incident as he could have gone anytime)....

we beat india in ODI and we could beat england...specially if the wickets are pretty lifeless...plus this play is just like the ash 158*...it will spurr on a hyper-confident mode in our team that we should ride all the way till after the SL series.
remember tapash blasted NZ...and masri could get 20 odd runs...lets pray for aftab to get his TON

i disagree...it's not possible to make England bat again. In the morning it will be very difficult especially with English pace attack...But they wanted to finish us up in two days..atleast we survivied two days!!!
for some reason I think that we should not play that many test for more humiliations instead we should send our teams to play county matches..but the thing is English, Aussies, even other nations discriminates us a lot. They won't allow ICC to take steps for BD team to go to their country, instead they will tell us to go play in India, Pakistan or Sri lankan counties.

They should shouldn't they ? After all these good scores but stats says different all the time . Win or Loose we all Bangladeshi and we support Bangladesh .....
I would be feeling very happy if they get atleast another 50 runs ....... it's not an innings defeat then ....

I can see what positives you could take from making England bat again, but you would only set them about 5 runs to win, it would be over in the 1st over which would be embarrasing I would imagine.

Atleast not an innings victory plus Pakistan lost to Aussies by 10 wickets in their last series as well as Kiwis lost to Aussies by 10 wickets too ...... 10 wickets victory is better than an innings victory .

I remember England setting India 5 runs to win a test once, it was over in 2 balls of the run chase, two boundaries.
Its not a nice feeling.

But it will be a nice feeling to us and almost like a win caz we know we can't fight anymore ...... and BD always been loosing by an innings to the top rank teams in tests at past.... atleast this won't be an innings defeat .

u can look at it like this aftab, mashrafe and Tapash when hot well you saw what they can do, if Mashreafe can get going he wont be hitting fours all over the place but sixes.
That 5 run lead could easliy be turned into a 150+
