That would definitely make him the HIGHEST run scorer in the league!
You guys have no idea what 25 avg really means in T20. Fazal Mamur kotha ar ki bolbo!

So here you are to make fun of Ashraful right? Lets see how does his T20 stats compares to other National Batsmen who just played against WI:

Batsmen Avg/Strike Rate
Ashraful 20/127

Tamim 23/117
Liton 22/140
Soumya 17/122
Shakib 23/123
Mushfiq 20/120
Riyad 23/122
Miraz 10/117
Ariful 14/96
Saifuddin 19/106

Any questions?

Oops, I forgot that BPL is T20.

I revise my prediction. Ashraful's average will be in single digit.

Look at the bright side, he already covered 3 runs out of 400. Only 397 to go ... LMAO

Well As far as T20 is concerned, I just showed with data that Ash is in the same league as all our national T20 batsmen.

Anyway, The point is after all this, Ash is still a star, a really big star in our cricket. Anytime I see a news on Ash on YouTube, it gets flooded by so many comments from the fans as how much they want him to come back and play. I don’t see this much of attention for any one of our players, other than maybe 3 or 4 icon players.

^ no one disagrees about him being a star. This thread is still alive is because he left that special boy wonder feeling in our cricket history. However, did not live up to his potential. There are only a handful players who were even mentioned to be the next Sachin Tendulkar in history, this guy was one of them. But couldn't even become 1/10th of what Tendulkar was.

P.s there was an article about this way back in the days. If you dig long enough in the net, you may find it.

I did not say he would score 400, others are saying his avg would be 25. I don’t see any one of our players would avg 25, and I already provided the stats.

The commentators were saying today, when he played BPL last time, he was the best Bangladeshi batsman at that time. I think the comment came from Shamim. Yes he was he was definitely one of the very best at that time. Everyone written him off lately but time and again he is proving everyone wrong in all formats...

Few things to point-out after first game:

1. As Papon was shaking hands with both of the teams, he took a little long time shaking Ashraful's hand. He said something to him. He even put his hand in Ashraful's shoulder. Hmmmm... all the signs are promising.

2. Mashrafee tried to back-kick him (with his leg) while Mashrafee was bowling and Ashraful was running towards non-striker's end. Hmmm.... what's going on?

3. Its started great with 3 run using 2 balls ( SR 150 as I predicted). Kintu kotha theke je ki holo.... haatimatim tim.... dhoppash.... gone. Shafiul Islam must be a Ash hater.

11 games left.... akhono shomoy ache... dekha jaak ki hoi.

Donald Trump would have picked Ashraful in his team because Ashraful is good for rating

100% agree. Good for tv raiting, good for sponsors, good for bookies but bad for the team almost 8/10 times.

Ashraful looked okay from what I observed. The pitch was way too spicy so really no reason to make fun of him from that 1 inning.
