Default Match Thread: Nafis v Nazmul, OD3 (Simulation)

Hello and welcome to Toronto for the third game in the one-day series to be played between Team Nafis and Team Nazmul. News is Team Nafis have won the toss and elected to bat. Both teams have stuck with the same XI they've used the whole series. The pitch is a bit uneven but hard so there might be some unpredictable bounce but the ball should come onto the bat nicely. It's a good competitive wicket.

0.3 LateCut to Habibul_fan, OUT, Gone! The ball just moves away a little off the seam, Hfan pushes at it and edges the ball low to the right of the keeper who takes a good catch. Perfect start

1.5 Shaoun to MasterBlaster, OUT, Another one! Good length outside off, MB doesn't move his feet and tries to wack it through the covers, only manages to chop it onto his stumps. Team Nazmul shocking the openers.

1.6 Shaoun to Ehsan, one run, Dropped! First ball and he goes for it outside off, the ball takes the top edge and flies down to Fazal at third man who never looked confident in taking the catch. Ehsan can make them pay for that error

5.6 TAIF to Ehsan, one run, dropped again! Short and at the body, Ehsan tries to pull but it gets the back of the bat and flies over the slip cordon, Fazal makes a lot of ground and takes a fine catch but the ball falls out when his elbows hit the ground. Fazal drops Ehsan for a second time

Good job Team Namzul. We are coming back from that near draw (it was a loss in the end) and playing awesome.

11.6 LateCut to Bdmoderator, OUT, Short and wide should have been put away but cuts it straight to backward point. Fazal is relieved that he held onto one

Shaky start. All the players look rusty due to the long break we had. We better start taking our responsibilites now before things get even worse.

Please tell me it will be

25 Tintin to Ehsan, OUT!!!, Charges down the track, gets to the pitch of the ball and smashes it but somehow aka (or any other player) catches the ball near the boundery. A catch very similar to Vasbert Drakes WC03 catch that got DAvidson out.

lol...
