i hope this partnership makes the selectors think a bit because mominul has been the best A team batsman, he's one of the most talented and most consistent and he obviously gels well with tamim who is one of the best national team batsman so hopefully they'll see those positives and mominul will be pushed up.

SS is definitely putting his name in the mix, the 2nd opener spot still isn't settled, i'd say nazimuddin and anamul are contending for tests with imrul's name in the mix for ODIs but if SS can keep scoring i think he'll soon be right on the fringes for the squad.
