Need to get a decent bowling coach, there are enough fast bowlers capable of 140+ that the pace unit should be pretty solid, need someone that can teach them the right mindset, best training techniques and the skills they may not already have (or in fizz’s case when to bowl what as he’s got so many options already).

^^^Right on, Gowza!
I think it would be great to have someone like Malcolm Marshall, Jeff Thompson, Dennis Lilly or Bob Willis to teach these under-disciplined young fos some good lessons and tight training.
We need some result oriented training.

Perhaps Champaka deserves the credit.

Since he took over, pace attack has been getting back to form/consistency.

Walsh still needs to go, can't hide under Champaka for too long.

Walsh needs to go after this series , period . It's sad to see what the fast bowlers have become especially Rubel in the end overs even though he did well today and Fizz overall

Yup!! Am I right or am I right?

If I don't like Walsh, and we lose, it is definitely his fault. The number shows. In comes stats, before and after. And when we win, Walsh who? It is the bowler, game situation, anything and everything else. Even the new head coach gets credit. WAITING for another failure to expose Walsh.

That is life, we have to deal with it.

With the Ramadan and after that vacationing in the summer with family, I was pretty occupied. Visited BC time to time but didn't post. Can't stay away for long. The usual grind is almost starting with the kids school opening soon.

Missed everyone here as well. Still no Zeeshan? Read few of his comments in Cricinfo during the series.

I was surprised to see Bangladesh pacers at the top of the list. How much do you guys think it's down to Walsh's coaching?

Don’t think it’s much Walsh related. Walsh is a poor coach.

Hats off to Walsh.

Walsh had to take the blame when the pacers played atrociously. Now as the pacers are doing good, he definitely deserves the credit for that.

I think we added a new bowling coach as well. Walsh had 2 awful years as pace coach and it's hard to give him credit due to that.

Giving Walsh credit for the recent performance is like giving Dipu Moni credit for improved foreign relations for Bangladesh

When you take Mash out we look clueless in both t20 and tests. Mash is the new ball bowler we have't found from the younger generation. Rubel is good with the old ball but it is Mash that is getting us the early breakthroughs.

Apart from ruining half of Mustafiz, I do not see any valid contribution from the great coach.

Our bowlers love bowling short. That too with dolly pace. Disgrace

And the biggest problem is when we win a match or two, we tend to forget all these
