Mushy's Brilliant Captaincy
Now we all know this is no flat pitch like Khulna. It has grass on it for pacers on Day 1 and will have cracks for spinners in Day 5. So the best day to bat on is Day 2-4. Mushy won the toss to take advantage of Day 1 and then get into follow on and bat two innings in a row, set a paltry but tricky target for Pakistan on Day 5.
I see the tactics now. It can happen!! If we can somehow at least give target of 150, it will be an interesting chase.
Brilliant captaincy!!

Decision of batting or fielding first after winning a toss is hardly made by the captain alone, it is a team decision including coach, support staff and management.
Mushy needs to show good captaincy in bowler rotation and field placement.

Why do all the same issues with mushy when he does the captaincy?
Plus, what about the team selection? can anyone explain. .

Well I see a twist. Pakistan will not enforce a follow on but bat for a session and extend the lead to an unreachedble score and make us bat on the 4th and 5th day.
The only positive would be that we could avoid an innings defeat.

What if they don't want to force follow-on because say there is 7 sessions left? Bat for 2 sessions and then give us the 5th day with a 400+ target?

Hom is a fantastic spinner. He is especially lethal after 150 overs when the ball gets old. Why the hate bhais?
