Just watched the replays. Except one slash that missed the willow while getting wide away of off-stump the whole innings was full of calculated risk, clean copy book hitting, improvised scoop, wisely pulling short ones and completely dominating the opponents without even a mere hope of run out chance. Magnificent immaculate flawless partnership possible. Just .

Congrats to a great innings SN. There has never been any doubt about his talent. He's shown in some matches that he can really score big against good international attacks. Unfortunately his inconsistency is his main issue. Also his overall mental ability remains his biggest nemesis. If he can overcome these issues then I can see him come back strong but he needs to really overcome these problems of his. He's already gotten many chances so he's got to make it count now Posted via BC Mobile Edition (Blackberry)
Jokes aside, he always was a good player of spin. I'm not sure why he was always used as opener, he's got zero footwork against the moving ball - absolute clueless player against swing.
Are there any highlights available of this innings?

Happy for him but I am not convinced that he is suddenly a better player. He is a good player of slow bowling and Rajshahi didn't have any fast bowlers. Playing Edmonson and Erwine is one thing, facing up to international fast bowlers is quite another. Would like to see him repeat at least one of those shots against Nannes, Tait or any other fast bowler in the tournament

He was always a middle order batsmen, but the national team needs during theBashar era prompted him to play up the order as an opener, and frankly Alhamdulillah! He did quite well at that time as an opener.
Just watched the highlights of Nafees' hundred. That was some terrible bowling (not to take anything away from the man). Has he lost weight? Good to see.

Screw the IPL, I'm going to the MLC!
I think he should still be in our national side but at 4 or below. He's also a very good player of spin and think will be wise to bring him to tours to Sri Lanka and Zimbabwe.

If it's 4 or below, he has no chance. No.3 is the lowest he can get, but I wouldn't trust him in that position. Can't open either since he is susceptible to moving balls and Anamul is there. So nothing has changed really unfortunately.

he has shown great maturity & temperament in BPL 2 so far,
not too long ago we used to laugh at him the way he batted in Tests,
I'm really happy for him.
keep it up man.

If you thought bowling was terrible just take another look at the fielding. Man, what's up with the fielders of all BPL teams? All the highlights I have seen so far, no body wants to dive and save a boundary unless they are going for a catch....what's up with that? And these are all young lads and supposedly future of BD cricket!!!
