Default Shahadat deserve to play for Bangladesh team in ODI format?

I been warning about Shahadat for some time now, he should not play ODI format, as usually he always expensive giving away to many run only few times he manage to pickup wicket over all he is not worth keeping for ODI. What you think?

Not voting. We dont have that many fast bowlers in our country. As for now I dont want to see him in next squad but he should continue playing cricket.

And Shafiul and Rubel are injury free. Are they invincible ? Can Mash play in Test match ?

All this have to considered before completely say good bye to any fast bowlers in Bangladesh. Where every cricketers wants to be a slow left arm bowler.

Even I am going to teach my son to become a batsmen who can bowl a bit of spin. (Thats my dream)

OR......

have someone come in and teach bowlers to bowl fast, pay for it correctly, and have a proper, functioning fast bowling academy.

Or is that far too sensible?

Exactly mate,I agree with you 100%. Many will now blame Shahadat Hossain Rajib. I want to remind everyone one thing, the last time we qualified for the finals of a tournament(tri nation series) we lost the final to Sri-Lanka even though after about 6 or 7 overs they got 6 runs losing five wickets!! From that position they went onto win the match in the last over. It was Muralithraran who hit Rubel Hossain out of the park and snatched a sure cup win from us. That time many were calling for Rubel's head not looking at the right reason. But this same Rubel with proper guidance became a good death over bowler and mastered a bit of reverse swing too. It is this Rubel who bowled that brilliant yorker to Kyle Mills in that "Banglawash" series in the last match in a nerve-racking moment. Our board needs to take right decisions groom young fast bowlers. And on the matter of Shahadat I hope Shane Jurgenson gives him proper guidance. By the way there was another pace-man in the squad named Abul Hossain Raju. I have seen him bowl regularly in 135-137kph speed. But he needs some help with line and movement too.

Thats was Rubel's maiden series.

Whereas, Shahdat in his 7+ yr int cricket and time to time he proving that he is not improving whatsoever rather than leaning how grunt louder and louder.

I don't see him getting one vote at this point. Really. 26 overs 3 wickets and 200+ runs? That line is horrible even for a 5 day game.

When you play any international team, you need to select your best players, as you will see from stat that is not our best ODI bowler. So why select him ?

He obviously deserves a chance... Look at his amazing bowling. He kept a tight line, got good lift and troubled all batsmen at 135kph+ speeds. Then, you turn of your PS3 and watch the game and realise this will never happen again.

it works

But lets not forget, this guy has been playing for almost 7 years and yet safiul/rubel who havent played that much still seems to be better

no matter what you are, if you are a negative IQ player like shahadat you will never be a good bowler. At the end of the day, he is ordinary and I dont think any coach in the world can help him, especially when he dreams about his date with Sharapova and seeing sharukhan polishing his shoe

A permanent pace bowling academy is the answer. Those temporary workshop is not good enough at international level and specially in Bangladesh for obvious reason.
