Well, it was taken in an interview between Sakib and Shakib and it was given in Prothom Alo (Anondo) which can only be found as a paper not in internet.....

অস্ট্রেলিয়ান বিশেষজ্ঞ ডেভিড ইয়াং বা জাতীয় দলের ফিজিও মাইকেল হেনরি কেউই কোনো সুখবর দিতে পারছেন না। মাশরাফি বিন মুর্তজাকে নিয়ে অনেক দিন ধরেই তাই সর্বশেষ খবর হয়ে থাকছে ‘অনিশ্চিত’ শব্দটি। এ অবস্থায় ইংল্যান্ডের বিপক্ষে আসন্ন হোম সিরিজ পর্যন্ত সাকিব আল হাসানকে জাতীয় দলের অধিনায়ক করার কথা ভাবছে বাংলাদেশ ক্রিকেট বোর্ড (বিসিবি)।

বিসিবি সূত্রে জানা গেছে, ২২ ডিসেম্বর অনুষ্ঠেয় বোর্ড সভাতেই ইংল্যান্ড সিরিজ পর্যন্ত সাকিবকে অধিনায়ক ও মুশফিকুর রহিমকে সহ-অধিনায়ক করার সিদ্ধান্ত হতে পারে। এ ব্যাপারে জানতে চাইলে বিসিবির মিডিয়া কমিটির প্রধান জালাল ইউনুসও বলেছেন একই কথা, ‘মাশরাফির ইনজুরির ব্যাপারে নিশ্চিত করে কিছু বলা যাচ্ছে না। টি-টোয়েন্টি বিশ্বকাপের আগে তার ফেরার সম্ভাবনা নেই। এবারের ফেরাটা যেহেতু ওর জন্য শেষ সুযোগ হবে, পুরোপুরি সুস্থ হয়ে ফেরাই ভালো। আর সুস্থ হলেও সে তো অনেক দিন ম্যাচ প্র্যাকটিসে নেই। এ অবস্থায় সাকিবকে একটু বেশি সময়ের জন্য দায়িত্ব দেওয়া হতে পারে।’

আগামী মাসে ভারত ও শ্রীলঙ্কাকে নিয়ে তিন জাতি হোম সিরিজের পর বাংলাদেশ যাবে নিউজিল্যান্ড সফরে। এর পর ফেব্রুয়ারিতে বাংলাদেশে আসবে ইংল্যান্ড দল। সাকিব-মুশফিককে এই তিন সিরিজের জন্যই দায়িত্ব দেওয়া হতে পারে। গত ওয়েস্ট ইন্ডিজ সফরে মাশরাফি ইনজুরিতে পড়ার পর থেকেই জাতীয় দলের অধিনায়কের দায়িত্ব পালন করছেন সাকিব। সাকিবের নেতৃত্বে বাংলাদেশ ওয়েস্ট ইন্ডিজ ছাড়াও জিতেছে জিম্বাবুয়ের বিপক্ষে দুটি ওয়ানডে সিরিজ।

Yup, Mashrafee is doubtful, everyone from BCB is saying one thing, "this is going to be the last chance for Mashrafee and we do not want to take chacne." This injury may take Mashrafee away from cricket.

Congrats Shakib!

Nah bhais and apas, Inshallah, Mash can come back, return to spearheading the deadly bowling attack someday again soon! Let him heal and cure the knee problem first then Inshallah he will return! A lot of big people in history of cricket and outside of it did in the past, we will just have to pray and wish him well, which we are doing.

We should give up the idea of making Mash the Captain, even if he is fit and returns in the team.

He was always prone to injury; why put extra pressure on him & the team?? Shakib is good enough to continue as the captain. Congrats Shakib
