Stuart Karppinen has been Bangladesh fielding coach for 2 years previously so he knows the country well. Ranadeb Bose is an Indian Bengali so that helps, he's got good bowling stats as well so hopefully he can help our pacers.

An Indian ! Bangali ! Non So known guy ! Will teach pace bowling??? Give up that hope.

Hope he can do the game development as his appointment suggests. He should be working with the district/Divisional level coaches. If the root level coaches are good enough, we can expect more players in the future. What else game development you expect from him??

Action against BPL franchises must be just a bully for eye wash. Had there been any solid actions, they would have said it loudly.

Who is pushing for the election ...? LK or Papon?? I guess both of them were present in the meeting...

ICC is pushing for the election. BCB may lose its membership if the leadership is not elected like how BFF was expelled from FIFA.

Actually at this point, I would be more than happy if BCB loses its pathetic membership. They've robbed the country of whatever little dignity it had. Loitta and Tutul deserves to be drenched in the used loitta water that run down our behinds!

Greek-info.... I can see, which direction we will be moving under him....

Although some people of BC know him personally and speak very high of him, but I have doubt about his knowledge of cricket...& the cricket world...

So BCB have no option than a election for the president post? Well done ICC.
Still i have a feeling that these political bigots/village politicians will manage a way to be there.

Richard's designation is 'Manager / Head Coach' of the National Cricket Academy. The new guy will be reporting to Richard.

NSC meeting by next Monday
Sports Reporter

Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) president Nazmul Hassan Papon will discuss issues regarding the BCB constitution and board elections with the high-ups of the National Sports Council (NSC) by next Monday.

“Our president (Nazmul Hassan Papon) will first talk with the legal adviser because there are some issues and confusion about some clauses in the recommendation and then he will meet with the NSC officials by next Monday,” informed BCB's media committee chairman Jalal Yunus after the board meeting at Mirpur yesterday.
