what is this ?? Since we playing after such a long time, we are in such a good mood. Everybody is so high...seems like Eid day is coming and you put up this simple one liner match thread (no coloring, no info, no picture etc)

I expected more from Shakibrulz ! you disappointed me !

Anyway, ki ar kora....Best of luck to Tigers !! hopefully we will have good lunch/dinner with kiwi curry !

Shakibrulez bhai please make some changes in the opening post. Go through some of the older match threads.

Ticket goes digital
The Daily Star, October 3, 2010

The ticketing system goes digital for the five-match one-day series between Bangladesh and New Zealand to be held at the Sher-e-Bangla National Stadium in Mirpur from October 5.

“Ticket will be available in different outlets of Grameenphone and for the first time we have introduced an e-ticketing system which means that fans can now buy ticket through their mobiles. It is similar to how they buy tickets for train journey,” informed GS Hassan Tamim, chairman of the ticket and seating committee of the Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB).

BCB has printed less than half its capacity this time because of ongoing renovation work ahead of the 2011 World Cup.

Tamim informed that the official capacity of the stadium - which will host six World Cup matches including two quarterfinals - is 26,000-plus but the BCB have issued only 14,000 tickets for each match of which 2000-3000 will be complimentary.

"For the greater interest, we have to accept some difficulties for the coming series. We have allotted limited seats because there is a safety concern due to renovation work. But the series against Zimbabwe in December would be a dress rehearsal for World Cup,” said Tamim.

6000 gallery tickets have been allocated for each match and the price is fixed at Tk 25 while the price for VIP is Tk 1000, International Gallery Tk 200 and Club House (North and South) Tk 100.

Following the first ODI on October 5, the second, third, fourth and fifth matches are scheduled for October 8, October 11, October 14 and October 17 respectively.

Due to the cancellation of the two warm-up matches NZ were allowed to practice in the centre wicket where the first ODI will be played, this is the first time ever that a visiting team has been allowed to practice in the main pitch. Understandably NZ were very happy with it and they believe it will really help them in the series, what morons we have in BCB, simply no common sense whatsover!

NZ gave options either arranged a practice match in diff venue (other than BKSP) or get them a chance to practice in main wicket. I was shocked to find out that BCB officials can't find another ground to arrange another match.
Dhanmondi, Jagannath Hall, Buet Ground suppose to be good.

26K capacity max...thats pretty bad for a subcontinent stadium. a large country like ours, should have a stadium that seats 50,000.

WTF IS WRONG WITH EFFIN BCB?

When Bangladesh toured in New Zealand last year, did they allow BD to practice in the match-wicket because Bangladesh didnt have any practice matches prior to that test match? NO

Why does BCB put themselves down in the face of foreigners. They are a disgrace. APart from that, they are giving NZ an advantage.

Nonetheless, good luck to the Bangladeshi team

I'm going to be honest here - I despise the New Zealand team, and want them crushed and humiliated. I'm expecting a series win even without Tamim. As long as they stay positive and BELIEVE they can win, they will. Get in there boys.
