Default FINAL MATCH: INDIA U19 VS WEST INDIES U19 I ICC UNDER-19 CRICKET WORLD CUP | 14/2/16 | DHAKA, BANGLADESH

No thread opened of the final....

India U19 in big trouble. U19 West Indies seemed bowled brilliant, going by stats.

Go WI! you got this cup.

India bowled out 145. West Indies need 146 to win the U19 WC!

Goes to show how well BD U19 batted against the WI pacers on such early morning swings and movement WI were getting. Not that it matters anymore.
Thought I'd just say....seeing how Ind batsmen struggled big time.

When we batted conditions were worst. There was very very low light, the overcast conditions were worst by a whole lot. Not to mention Indian openers were in mighty form while ours had been one of the worst if not the worst in our history. And Indians didn't lost the toss while we lost it. So the decision to take batting first is an all time low. No matter how much you try to justify it, what we did is kind of a cricketing suicide.

We gave the best gift we possibly could to the Windies to reach Finals. Not taking anything away from the windies here, they got the best fast bowlers of the tournament. I keep saying this a million times, we gave the opposition more strength by playing to their strength and our weakness. A very unfortunate day in our cricket.

All over though, good luck to both the teams..

Like all defensive captains, pace er upor vorosha pai nai even though Saifuddin is good and the national side transformed itself through its pacers

Paul did the mankind against Zim and hit the winning run in the final...irony

Congrats to WI. No one gave them a chance to win whatsoever and they did it by beating three favourite; Pak, BD and India. Well deserved

Congrats WI. Watched the game after WI were 5 down. Carty showed so much determination. It was a timely win for WI cricket and their future looks bright. Congrats Aklemalp.

Congratulations to windies, they were the better team today, commiserations to boys in blue , you tried hard and made a match out of low total, hopefully this will turn them into better cricketers, and I am sure it will happen, coz they are in hands of someone(Dravid),who knows how to handle the flare of youth and channelise it into something positive, this is not the end of your road, but a new beginning to new path, same for windies too.

Great boost for Windies and world cricket, not just Windies defeat of India, but Bangladesh,Nepal,Namibia,Afghanistan and Zimbabwe, out doing what they have done before.
I question whether some of those young Saffies will end up in England or NZ,especially the white kids, same with the white zimbabweans. So the loss will be bigger for them.
Yesterday Chad Bowes made his first class debut in NZ,was part of the winning S African side last time.
And yes looking over things Australia made a mistake in not visitting.
Looking forward to Bangladesh visiting oz in 2017.
