Apparently he is. Check EuroBangla.

May be BCB should invite him to play few matches for Sylhet this NCL (since English county season does non kick off before April) so that we can have a closer look at our Bangali pola.

That's amazing. I think in Canadian team there will soon be a couple of Bangladeshis. Just keep praying.

Congrats to Jahid.

Shaoun,

Answer me two questions. Did Ashraful get paid for his services, and secondly, did the team get promoted ?

Well most Bangladeshis in the UK [about 90% or more] are Sylhety like myslef, so i wouldn't be surprised if he was. Either way it would be good if he could go and play in BD league in Essex off season.

He demolished SL on his debut. It does not matter whether he is a bengali or not. His ambitions must be squarly on making the English team someday. Wish a bright future for him

Spot on. We could definitely use a fast bowler or two and he would surely get his opp here much sooner than with England.

i dont think he can play for bangladesh team. he was born and raised in england. and plus how can we be sure that he wants to play for bangladesh team. but i still wish him good luck because he is the first bangladeshi to play in county cricket.

i dont really know how his team did. i am sure he got paid some money but dont know how much. but it is an embarrassment for our cricket. all i know is that the team he played for non of the other players are professional cricket players. its like a weekend cricket. it isnt even a minor county team. one thing i am sure is that he didnt learn anything from it specially after his performance in champions trophy.

Lol orphy. I would repharse Gokhlae's word 'What Chittagong think today, Bangladesh think it tomorrow'.
Example :
1. Master Da Surjo Sen in 1930 liberated a part of India for 3 days.
2. 6 point demand was declared in Chittagong by Bangubondhu
3. The declaration of independence was declared from Chittagong
