Hajj 2012

I went to perform Hajj and have returned. (You guys did not miss me. I am so hurt!) I'll try to share my stories later, but here is a quick advice for anyone contemplating about performing Hajj. Don't delay! You'll regret the delay when you finally go. It is an unbelievable, indescribable experience, to say the least.

Three experiences stood out.

1. Watching Kaba for the first time.
2. The day of Arafat.
3. The night at Muzdalifah.

The Almighty saved our house from Ms. Sandy. I was stuck at Cairo en route to NY because JFK was shut down. My family stayed with a family friend. We lost power for 5 days. We stayed with a niece after I made it back; they had power.

All is well now, alhamdulillah.

Haha! Thank you! Also, I remember it vividly, he called me when he was just out of Masjid-e-Nabi saying "Ma it's feeling amazing to see the view it's breath-taking and the green on the Minar is out of this world and the whole sight is impossible to explain in words...

Welcome Back Shuziburo. You were absolutely right about not delaying Hajj . Its advisable to perform Hajj early in life.

I had intentions of going with my mum this year but for some reason it didnt work out . Positive about next year.
