Default IPL 2010: Season 3. Match Thread

DLF IPL 2010 starts.

Match 1: KKR Vs Deccan Chargers

I just want to keep it simple. No fireworks like Obayed bhai.

Since we dont need match by match thread, we can continue our chit chats on IPL here.

Looking forward to some good boom boom cricket for the next few weeks.

KKR lost 2 wickets in the first over!!
first ball duck by some unknown opener!!
and now Ganguli gone facing only 2nd ball!!

0-2 after 0.3 overs!!
Vass takes both wickets!!

What an amazing first over by Vaas.
Seems like KKR is yet to shrug off their bad luck from last two years....

Hodge is on, with some Pujara guy.
Excellent drive thru cover for first boundary of the tournament.

They want Mash only for net practise.
Will give him a game or two at the dead end, just to keep him happy.

Good for us too. He can get back in shape, but more importantly, will have Wasim Akram as his bowling coach. Hope the fat whinner can learn something from him.

i still remember the last IPL. i was in Kaptai. on the days KKR was playing. he would be on the TV 2 hour before start. and constantly asking what are the chance of mashrafe playing according to news in webs. i always said he has very little chance, but every game he was very much hopeful mashrafe will play. the only day he lost hope mashrafe wont play..... he actually played

anyway i wish mashrafe uses his IPL time to come back into shape by gym and bowling in nets and use the time with Wasim Akram. though i fear how much time ha can get from Wasim, when the likes of ishant sharma, ashok dinda, shukla, matthews, bond, agarkar, langeveldt would be around him

Btw, did you guys watch the opening ceremony??
I thought it was a farce!!

UB40 and Lionel Richie?? I could get 'em sing n dance on my para party for free!!
That was cheap.

Deepika was out of sort. She looked out of sort and energy was missing.
She seemed to have missed few beats as well. Her lip sync on the midley was aweful.
