NZ, Eng or South Africa will not win this wc and god knows when! The thing is they rely on analysis and statistics and play according to a set gameplan. But subcontinental teams plus Australia and west indies have match winners who on their day just takes the game away from these teams. One of the reasons US lost the war in Vietnam was because of over reliance on data and analysis whereas the Vietnamese fought tooth and nail with their spirit.

These players from nz, eng, aus etc will always brush aside bd’s success but will criticize their failures. They used to talk about Ind in such fashion too but now India is all too powerful and they all wanna make career out of IPL. But that sheer desire to ridicule is now left toward BD unfortunately. Only way to shut them up is to win and not just win marginally but the way WI thrashed pakistan today.

Clearly he touched some nerves here. Like any other people, he is entitled to have an opinion.

Let’s hope boys prove him wrong. Trashing him doesn’t help.

People can underestimate this BD team at their own peril. All they needed to do is notice how well BD played in the tri series. Given that our boys were playing in alien conditions my hopes wouldn't have been dashed even if they performed poorly. Winning wasn't the main thing, getting valuable match practice in similar conditions was. Yet our boys managed to destroy the opposition in every match. After successfully chasing 200+ in 24 overs they have the belief they can chase down any target against anyone.

Current South African batting coach made a huge difference in batting. The way our boys handled bouncers should be highly appreciated.

Calm down there with white supremacy. I think he falls in the category of many of the pundits who under rate us massively and probably do not follow us as closely. And this reaction is a defensive one ..no one wants to admit that they are an idiot.

Anyone who follows bd cricket knows that's some dumb prediction

Even the proper English pundits and journalists rate us high. They are obnoxious like these retired hacks. Kiwis jurnos and players have regularly put us down and even said nasty things about Bangladesh.

I can understand Aussies and South Africans putting BD team down but how do these kiwis do that after the double banglawashes they received when the BD team wasn't even as good as it is now and getting knocked out of the Champions Trophy ? I also noticed Simon Doull having this negative attitude in Asia Cup , he was behaving like we were very lucky to be in the finals and that Afghanistan should be in there even though we beat Pakistan and them fair and square when it mattered.

^ relax bro, let's not take something so simple out of proportion. It's really silly ... We get laughed at because of simple things like this and turning them into something huge

Just wanted to add how much better a large section of the British pundits and crowds are towards Bangladesh these days.

They still admire Tamim’s 100 in Lords. They still are in shock of the loss in the WC in Australia.

Sky Sports also did a nice small documentary on Bangladesh.
