About locked thread

Kimashchorjom! I can not read babubangla's recent posted thread. Has BC changed it's forum regulation with its newly updated feature? Members could still read the content of a thread even if it was locked before. Moderation of this flexible forum turns out to be more "hard liner". Why should a locked thread still be hanging like a "moila kapor" if we are not "permitted" to go thru it? Please either remove them out of our sight or let us at least read.

On another note, I didn't like this "head moderator" designation. Quite suffocating! Reminds me of a snub nosed protruding eyed angry school head master standing with an oily stick(toilakto beth) to treat his students for their innocent wrong doing. I'd love to see this forum to be more flexible. My two cents.

It's a little mishap. If the thread comes back, it will probably be in Forget Cricket.

Yeah, it was a mess resulting from two seperate actions from two mods at the same time! Anyway, it is gone now.

how about chief moderator?

head moderator does sound a little head mastersih, but other than that it should be fine if you are indeed the head moderator, and the other moderators acknowledge that.

I like chief moderator. Raj and I asked Chinaman bhai about the head moderator title as a temp title till we find something less HEADY and after some false (eheh) modesty he said - whatever you guys say works for me. Cheif moderator sounds much better.

Raj bhai, thanks for the u2u. We'll switch the head to chief.

"Chief moderator" sounds more rational. Be it head or chief, he is one of the pioneers of our beloved forum

Honestly all those designation change gives me an impression of .....not having it in Hyde park!
