ICL sides do not have credible bowlers, also Batsmen are playing care free, pressure free situation. They already got their 3 years deal. Win or lose they will still get their money. So no wonder they are doing better. Almost all the players crumbled uder international pressure.
So guys .. pls don't cry over alok, nazim. If they were in south africa, they will flop. Remember Alok in T20 world cup in South africa? Because of him we lost againt them.

My suggestion to the team management is that..Don't play Shahadat in this match. He will give over 40 runs for no wicket in 2-3 overs.

There are no favourites in a T20: Ashraful
TigerCricket.com
JOHANNESBURG: After basking in the sun for the better part of two days The Bangladesh side trained under gloomy skies at the Wanderers today afternoon. The rain never came despite the clouds and the odd lightning and the tourists’ preparation for tomorrow’s day/night T20 international against South Africa was not disrupted.
After the nets at the outdoor practice centre the Tigers had a 40 minutes fielding session under lights.
Bangladesh have picked a 12 for the game leaving out batsman Mehrab Hossain and pacers Nazmul Hossain and Mahbubul Alam. Batsman Imrul Kayes and Naeem Islam are set for T20 debut in the match which is scheduled for a 6pm start (10pm BST).
Johannesburg has some 10-15 thousand Bangladeshi expats and a good number of them are expected at the game.
Tigers skipper Mohammad Ashraful said the team was eager to impress in their first outing of the tour.
“We have come here with a lot of confidence following some pretty good individual performances against New Zealand. In bowling and fielding we did well in Australia also. The weather here now is pretty similar to what we have back home so we’re feeling very comfortable,” said Ashraful while speaking to local media representatives.
The captain felt the batsmen had reasons to feel good about playing in South Africa. “Obviously the wickets are different here but they are good for batting. If you get set then runs will come and there is value for the shots.”
Ashraful also agreed that the shorter version promises a more even contest.
“In a Twenty20 game everything happens fast and any team can win. South Africa are a formidable opponent and are number two in the world but in this shortened match you can’t have an outright favourite.”
“We are focusing on the ODI and Test series but tomorrow’s game also gives us an opportunity to start on a high and we want to do well,” said Ashraful.
Asked whether the defection to the Indian Cricket League by a group of players had weakened the team Ashraful thought it hasn’t had that much of an impact on the side.
“All of us are more or less cricketers of similar standards and we don’t have any superstars. Therefore we are not really missing anybody. On the other hand the new guys who have come in are extremely talented and have performed at academy, first class and A team levels and I’m very excited for them. I’m sure they’ll prove their worth,” said Ashraful.
Bangladesh (XII): Mohammad Ashraful (Captain), Tamim Iqbal, Zunaed Siddique, Imrul Kayes, Shakib Al Hasan, Roqibul Hassan, Mushfiqur Rahim (Wicketkeeper), Naeem Islam, Masrafe Bin Mortaza (Vice Captain), Abdur Razzak, Syed Rasel, Shahadat Hossain.
South Africa (XI): Johan Botha (Captain), Loots Bosman, AB de Villiers (Wicketkeeper), JP Duminy, Herschelle Gibbs, Rory Kleinveldt, Johann Louw, Albie Morkel, Morne Morkel, Justin Ontong, Dale Steyn.

Tamim excited about Twenty20

Coach Jamie Siddons has spoken of the need for his top four to step up in South Africa, and opener Tamim Iqbal knows it will be a difficult proposition against a formidable pace attack. Tamim will get his first taste of the task at hand in Bangladesh's Twenty20 international against South Africa at the Wanderers on Wednesday.
"This is a tough tour and I know I have to work very hard to score runs against South Africa," he told TigerCricket.com. "But I am really looking forward to the Twenty20 match. I love the format, I love the fast pace of it and it sends my pulse racing."
Tamim felt the team had gained in confidence after the home series against New Zealand. "It was a very close series and we could have won the first Test and missed out on beating New Zealand in the ODI series also after winning the first ODI. The performance gave the players a lot of self-belief. If we play up to our 100% a positive result is possible here also, not just in the Twenty20 but also in the other matches."
Tamim wasn't too perturbed about the relatively high altitude of some grounds in South Africa or the extra bounce in the pitches. "We have travelled around the world and played in different conditions and wickets so it should not be a problem," Tamim said. "We just need to adjust quickly." Bangladesh were beaten comprehensively in both Tests and ODIs during their last tour in 2002. However, they upset West Indies in the World Twenty at the Wanderers last year, and went at more than ten an over in the first half of their innings in a first-round game against South Africa.
Bangladesh hit the practice nets at the ground on Monday, training in their new blue kit, which replaces the traditional yellow and black. With the practice pitch having a sufficient covering of grass, their was considerable seam movement for the bowlers, and Bangladesh's batsmen got a first-hand experience of what to expect on the tour.
"It's a challenge but that's how practice wickets tend to be here," Grant Trafford Luden, Bangladesh's fitness coach, said. "If you can practise on these tracks it becomes a lot easier when you go out to bat in the matches because pitches at the main venues are very good for batting."

Is it official??
If it is, then what is Shahadat doing here? 20/20 te to okey maire fatai dibe. And if
Shahadat is the 12th man, then we will play only 2 pace bowlers in SA!!!!!
Razzak, Sakib, Nayeem.....in the wanderars ground where straight boundaries are relatively small.....6 er upore thakbe khali....I do not rely on only 4 bowlers in 20/20 as Nayeem is very inexperienced to bowl 4 overs as spinner in SA. Then again, playing an extra bowler as Shahadat in 20/20 does not make sense also. Robin would have been a better choice for me in 20/20.

So Roqibul is going to play T20. Shahadat not good for T20

Shahadat can be decent at the death. We need Rajib, Rasel, Masree and Razzak in there.
